1956 Ford Thunderbird Fiesta Red *FULLY RESTORED*
This beautiful 1956 Fiesta Red Ford Thunderbird with black and white interior was restored by the original owner of John Jolly Autobody in Cumberland RI himself in 2008-09.
Over $50,000 in parts were purchased for this build as No expense was spared to find as many OEM parts as possible to help get this Baby Bird back to as close to original as possible.
Every single part...including nuts and bolts have been carefully restored or replaced to original parts or OEM replacements from the major parts suppliers and from private providers from around the country.
The 312 cid Engine, 3 speed manual transmission with factory overdrive and rear axle were all rebuilt at the time of restoration and have only had approximately 1500 break in miles driven since 2009.
The car also includes a brand new soft top assembly neatly tucked behind the rear seat. It is installed but has never been raised as this car has only seen sunny days.
This Classic T-Bird has serious style with a bullet-nosed grill, wraparound chrome bumpers, jet inspired taillights and the Continental kit that debuted in 1956.
New Parts include:
Tires, entire brake system, entire electrical system, generator, carb, oil pump, radiator, heating system, carpet, seats, convertible top frame and canvas, NOS Continental Kit, every nut, bolt and screw, front windshield, and the list goes on and on.
As with all 13-year-old restorations, there are a couple of minor paint and chrome chips but this car is a head turner and a show winner
