This truck is a California truck built in San Jose,CA and painted in a unique two tone combination of Raven Black with Wimbleton White. This truck has a sought after combination of equipmentand being a 1975 is exemptfrom Californiasmog requirements. This heavy duty work truck is equippedwith a 360cid V8 motor backed by a Ford 3 speed C6 automatic transmission. The 4 wheel drive is provided by a New Process 203 transfer case, transferringpower to the Dana 44 axle in the front and Dana 60 axle in the rear with a 4.10 gear ratio. Its a tried and true bulletproof combination of 3 separatedrive shafts connecting the axles and transfer case to the transmission. This combination caused a need for increase clearance to compensate for the additional driveshaft resulting in a higher than average stock ride height and garnering the nicknameFord "highboy".Cosmetically this truck is in decent shape for a 45 year old 4x4 truck. What you see is whast you get. The body is fairly straight except for the obvious rust imperfections. The combination of Raven Black and Wimbleton white is a unique combinationnot commonly seen very much on an old Ford truck. The paint is original and in good shape for the age. The paint has imperfections but overall has a healthy shine. There are some rust issues that are seen in the pictures and are all very much fixable without welding in new panels. Again what you see is what you get the floors all appear to be in good shape, there is no rust on the drip rails or by the windows. There are spots that are/were bare metal that has had rust prevention paint coating added.The truck is a 45 year old work truck and has the obvious imperfections one would expect from a truck of this age and type. What is important is the truck is very much original and all the imperfections could be fixed without major work.Step up into this old beast and you will find the interior is in great shape. Everything is original from the dash to the floor. The seat has been reupholstered and has no rips or tears. The original vinyl flooring is in great shape which is seldom in a Ford truck of this vintage. The dash has a few cracks but overall in pretty good shape for the age. The door panels are in great shape. The original headliner is also in decent shape which is also seldom on these trucks, the headliners always cracks and falls apart. The original steering wheel was replaced many years ago, I'm sure at the time it was considered an upgrade. Overall the interior is in good original condition, all of the gaugesappear to be functional.Mechanically this 360 V8 fires up and runs pretty good. It is the original 360 v8 that came with the truck new in 1975. On a side notethe 360 v8 was the ONLY option availablein 1975 in a 4x4 F250 truck many will call their 360 a 390 due to the visiblesimilaritiesbut that was never an option from the factory in a 1975 Ford F250 with 4 wheel drive. The motor appears to have been rebuilt at leastonce in its life. The truck has an np203 case and is full time 4x4. The truck runs and drives.
