1939 Ford 1/2 ton pickup

1939 Ford 1/2 pick project, very original. This truck has the original flathead Ford engine and transmission, the numbers on the transmission and frame match. The engine runs good, but the truck needs complete restoration. I have fixed several rusty spots in the cab corners and a place on the cowl. I cut it out and welded in 20 gauge steel replacements pieces. There are still a couple place like the right side hood panel that needs some wor, but most of the rust is fixed. The bed sides and front are in good condition, and very straight but the floor is completely gone, the tail gate is good but has a crack near the top. The fender have zero rust and are all fairly straight, very good. The radiator is the but a bottom inlet needs to be soldered back on, it is there,but broken off.This truck is very complete and original, it needs front window frame and I have the headlight buckets, but one mount is missing. The person I bought it from got it from his grand father, so it was in the same family for generations . It’s missing the seat, but the seat frame in in good condition and it has all 5 original V8 hub caps.Hasn’t been driven for year, but rolls and steers and the engine runs on a gas can and sound good. Great project for an original restoration. The frame and transmission are both stamped18- 5007450. The truck is out of the California DMV system so I am selling it with a California Bill of Sale form. I can store the truck for a while if a buyer needs time to pick it up, or I will help your shipper load it. I have the front bumper.
