Car description

This 1929 Ford Model A Tudor is a full steel body sedan, but you can instantly see this is far more than a classic cruiser. With plenty of V8 power, an overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, custom interior, and more this is a very cool street machine that has been given attention in every place.
The tudor sedan had the unmistakable look that reminds us of the dawn of America on wheels. So it already gets impressive nods when a steel-body classic like this gets upgraded for use in modern times. The burgundy paint has a metallic element that makes it candy-coated. There's room left in the budget if you want to get it back to show-stopping status, but it already really knows how to radiate in the sunshine and announce this one is something special. Of course, there are also a ton of details that let you know this Model A had been carefully crafted. For example, you get a better look at the classic grille now that it's shining so bright and the custom bumper gives you an unobstructed view. The upgraded American Racing polished alloys add to the shine of the package, and at the same time, deliver an aggressive forward-leaning stance from the extra meaty rear tires. In the rear is a cool/custom continental kit style setup with a full-size spare and a diamond plate lock box trunk. And while this has the classic metal sun visor, there are now bright vents that look like they are there to catch the extra speed.
Inside is a full custom interior that offers comfort while still remembering its lineage. The tall upright body still provides the same superior headroom that people were enjoying 90 years ago. But now upgrades like those front bucket seats provide superior comfort. It's a two-tone tan that you see on the rear seats and door panels. And speaking of the doors, the Betty Boop embossed panels are another reminder of how much detail has gone into this build. It also has the best in comfort with power front windows, cup holders, provisions for R134a air conditioning, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/XM stereo system with Bluetooth. Plus, there are some nice extras that you don't get in many hot rods, like a GPS system/speedometer, and a back-up camera was added above the rear-view mirror. It's even built for added driver comfort with the chrome steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, upgraded pedals, and a tall Lokar lock-out shifter.
It's great to see a legendary Ford V8 under the hood of an iconic Ford design. This 302 cubic-inch motor looks tidy, and you can easily spot desirable components, like the Edelbrock valve covers and steel braded hoses. Plus, the consignor lists plenty of added upgrades. It includes a 351 crank and camshaft, gear-driven timing chain, roller rockers, aluminum water pump, an aluminum air gap intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. The headers add power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. But any time you really want to bring the thunder, there are manual exhaust cutouts, too. This connects to a desirable Ford four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. As you look underneath the car, you'll spot suspension improvements like the hot-rod style hairpin polished front end and there are ladder bars in the rear. Plus, you have rack & pinion power steering, QA1 adjustable coilovers at each wheel, and four-wheel disc brakes.
Complete with build receipts and maintenance records, this is a custom Ford done with a ton of appeal. So if you love a custom build, don't miss this Model A. Call now!
