1964 Ford Fairlane 500 2-Door SedanThis could be an interesting project for a Ford enthusiast. maybe a Thunderbolt Replica ??? We're selling a project 1964 Ford Fairlane 500. It is a fairly complete car with a pretty solid body. It started life as a V8 and automatic. so it has the 8" rear and 5 lug wheels. There is a little rust in the passenger floorboard. and you see the hint of some coming through above each of the rear wheel wells. There is some bondo cracking on the left front fender. but appears to be an old repair rather than rust. There is a fair amount of rust in the area of the battery tray. no surprise there! There is no motor or transmission. Overall you have a whole car with a clean Nebraska title. You could make this a monster Thunderbolt replica. or drop another 289 in it and have a fun car to cruise in. Could be a good father/son project. Yes it needs plenty of TLC. but at least you have something to start with. (We also included a photo of it on a vintage transporter. which will be listed on eBay soon)Don't assume anything!
