4x4

Odometer: 78,502 (odometer reading; no guarantees on accuracy)

C6 Automatic transmission; Looks to be newer. Shifts great. Goes right into gear.

400 cubic inch V8; Runs good. Starts right up. No smoke or funny noises. Good oil pressure. (Exhaust manifold is cracked; it has exhaust leak on passenger side. Also, small hole in pipe.)

Divorced transfer case

Dana 44 front end

Dana 60 rear end (light howl around 35+ miles per hour.)

Large locking hubs

XLT F-250

Very solid truck.

Body: Pretty straight. Glass is good. Paint has chips, scuffs, scratches. Some of the trim is screwed on. Looks to be a second paint job due to the over-spray on wiring harness. Body is very solid. Rust free as far as I can tell. Some surface rust, mainly in box. (This had an oversized camper on it for years that was rotted out so box is not perfect and missing tailgate.) Doors lock and unlock with key.

Interior: Rated 6 out of 10 for a 1977 truck. Looks to be original. Carpet does have some damage. Seat has some wear. Headliner needs help. Door panel on passengers side is rough. Windows roll up and down. Heat works.

Running gear: As I haven't driven this truck more than 5 miles on back road next to my house, four wheel drive engaged with no funny noises. I can hear/feel a u-joint going out. Did not drive fast enough to hear the howl that the rear end is supposed to make at 55 mph. Tires are bad/shot (cracks/separation); not road worthy as far as I'm concerned. Brakes do work.

Engine: 400 cubic inch V8; Runs great. Holds good oil pressure. Temperature always on low. Looks to have new valve cover gaskets, water pump, distributor, carburetor, radiator hoses, oil and filter.

We acquired this through an estate. Our information on the history of this truck is very limited. We were told it belonged to an older gentleman. We pulled the way oversized, rotten camper off of the back.

We've provided information to the best of our knowledge. This truck will be sold as is, where is. No guarantee.
