Car description

1966 Mustang Coupe
Factory V8 car
true 90% rot free
az survivor

We suggest viewing our auction on normal monitors
or tablet to get the most out of our large hi-def pics.
This type of car would be a good project to take fully
apart during restoration and re-build from there.
Being such a rust-free car means they come apart so
much easier too.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Barn find in a way...
1966 Mustang Coupe factory C code
- this car like all used cars have some pros and cons.
Pros: Az car so expect little to no rot where most
50+ yr old cars have it. Sold by a reputable Ebay seller
w/ excellent pics and feedback. Very complete for its
age. Would make a great car to restore like stock or
resto-mod it some. Floors and rockers are very solid.
Originally the car came in Springtime yellow w/ a black
interior (and front bench seat) now buckets.
Cons: the car has sat out in the Az climate and desert
for about 10 yrs. The motor doesnt turn over w/ key or
by hand and it has powder type dirt inside people on the Eastcoast would not be used to. Has been painted at
least 3 times in its life, no signs of any major repairs
to the body over the yrs.

Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers

DRIVETRAIN: the 289-302 under the hood wont turn over
by hand. Pulled the plugs and put some Marvel down the each
cylinder in hopes of getting it to free up, but nothing yet. No
Idea what shape the C4 or 8" rearend are really in. Car rolls some
and steers, but the RR brake feels like its locked up some lately.
So it needs help being moved with a tow strap.
Tires are junk but hold air for a few days.

INTERIOR: take a look, for the most part it will need to be
taken apart and cleaned out alot. Most buyers would prob just
redo it completely too for a proper resto. Trunk area got some
surface rust, but still very solid (see pics) Does have a new gas
tank at least. Originally this car had a Parchment interior w black
trim & according to the door tag it was an original front bench seat car. When it was restored back in the 90s, it was changed to blue both
inside and out. All the
glass is intact and seems good. Has old window tint on it. For the most
part it is really complete too inside Missing a few handles inside and pass door only opens from the inside. Trunk lock missing a small spring, so we removed it for now and open it with a flathead. Carpet is very very
dirty. I started cutting up areas, figuring its not worth saving anyways, I wanted to check the lower area of the pans just to check for any possible rot, but havent found any to speak of so far.

EXTERIOR:the body is pretty clean and straight for its age.
AZ has been very nice to the sheetmetal on this car and I didnt
see any signs of major hits or accidents from its past. All the
glass is there and in good shape too. Paint is baked and old but
really the body is in decent shape. Found one spot of rust on the
dr side door front lower corner. Rockers and floors are amazing.
All of the 50 yr old chrome on the car is in decent shape too.
Doors dont sag and close nicely. We have 2 keys that come with
the car. UNDER the car much of the factory sealer has dry rotted
and has fallen off many areas. Where its fallen off the metal you can
see in the pics, is in amazing shape. SEE ALL THE PICS BELOW !!

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks to me like its your basic
standard Ford suspension from the factory with normal repairs
done over the years. NO crazy cutting up or mods which is nice
and little to no rot at all on the floors, drop offs, door bottoms
etc. Tires are junk, rollers at best. 14" steel wheels look to be
original with the factory wheel covers.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Fords
shown here on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rust bucket for months.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy esp
long distance. Our auctions are very detailed.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
