Car description

This is a very desirable factory red, V-8, 4-speed car. Ice cold air conditioning was added. Clean car from out west, 60,000 original miles. The owner's manual has the original dealers and purchaser's info. EXTERIOR: Originaly lived in Wyoming then California. The body is really clean. No rust, it's straight and fits really nice. Born a red car, the paint is very high gloss. It is polished smooth like glass. There are some touched up nicks but man this paint... job really pops. You know what else sets it off is the trim. Bright, shiny chrome, stainless, handles, etc. New chrome wheels, correct for 1965, even the center caps. New BFG white letter tires. A custom made tonneau cover was made. The trim was not drilled into. Inside the bed is nice, painted red. Has carpet mat. It's a great enclosed place for your stuff. INTERIOR: The interior was removed and the entire cab was Dynamated. It was completely restored keeping original palomino color. The metal was painted. Door panels, headliner, upholstery was redone. Carpet and mats were replaced. Dash area is restored. New chrome instrument bezel. Modern stereo with color matched speakers. Has correct 4-speed shifter and ball. Real nice Shelby style deluxe wheel. The a/c will blow ice cubes in your lap! The spare mounted behind the seat is a matching chrome wheel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very clean, tidy and proper. The metal is clean. Seams and spotwelds are crisp. The 289 runs smooth. Has correct manifolds, valve covers, carb etc. Has Ford reproduction hoses, correct fan shroud. Bottom of the hood is gloss red. Air conditioning system is new, runs on R134 freon. UNDERSIDE: Not glamorous and glossy but good clean metal that hasn't been covered up. The floors, frame rails and inner rockers are dry metal. Balljoints and swaybar bushings were replaced. Has KYB gas shocks in back. Dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers, good but not new. I'm around cars every day, this one is not perfect but it's really nice. I like ot a lot. I could picture myself running around in this car. It's so easy to drive, fun to shift, blows cold air. The bed is a good place for your stuff. Very simple to maintain. It's a good looker too!
