Car description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION I have for sale a good looking 1929 Model A Sport Coupe. The Sport Coupe is the one that look like a convertible, but has a fixed top. The top is canvas with wood bows so most people think its a convertible, "I guess Henry made it that way to look cool and sporty".
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!BRAKE LIGHT WORKS! NO TURN SIGNALS AT THAT TIME!Aaoogha HORN WORKS! COWL LIGHTS WORK!SPEEDOMETER CABLE IS BAD, I HAVE ONE ORDERED!
HOW IS THE ENGINE? Its starts and runs good "if you set the timing lever correct and choke correct. I hear no engine knocks or blue smoke. Its a Model A so it does leave drops of oil on a clean floor, live with it or get a modern car.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It does not jump out of gear, no bad clutch chatter and no slip. These were not synchronized transmission, so if you don't double clutch it will grind a little going into gears.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? I consider them good for 1929 mechanical brakes.
HOW ARE THE TIRES?The 21 inch tires are good with no cracks.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers good, door handles look like new, grab bars on back look like new.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Seat covers very good, door panels OK, but show age and some wear, floor mat looks new, rumble seat good with a small worn place on the corner.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Good, no cracks and no milky places.
HOW IS THE PAINT? It shines good, I see no rust bubbles, I see several specs and minor flaws, its nice upper end driver quality.
WHAT IS THE HISTORY? My dealer friend near Cincinnati found the car for me, the passed owner passed away and the car set for about 9 years. I put a new distributor, new plugs, rebuilt the carburetor and detailed the car.
WHERE IS THE CAR RIGHT NOW? Athens, Tennessee 37303.

BOTTOM LINE is this is a good car, not a perfect show queen. Its a solid car, it runs good, drives good and looks really nice. If you look with a critical eye inspection you can find a spec or tiny flaw in the paint, its a very nice driver.
