Car description

1935 FORD 2 DOOR SLANTBACK SEDAN
ULTIMATE RAT ROD STARTER CAR!!!
MAKE OFFERS!!! THIS BEAST NEEDS TO GO TO A NEW HOME TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE OTHER CAR WE INHERITED...
This car has been in a concrete floor barn for the last 30+ years. It has just been removed as the property has been sold. We inherited the car through family.
The body and frame are super solid and in great shape. It is an ALL ORIGINAL body that has never been cut or customized. It has all original paint/patina/pin striping and is better than a brand new paint job (in my opinion). The patina cannot be beat. No body rust through but some driver denting as shown. Adds to the patina!
It still has the original flathead V8 motor and the oil in the crankcase is nice (see picture). We have NOT tried to turn it over at all. We are betting it isn't "loose" after sitting but will leave that to the next owner to take precautions of pre-lubricating cylinders etc prior to trying to crank it.
Comes with (5) original FORD V8 wire spoke wheels original to the car and it rolls and steers. Transmission shifts into all gears and clutch works. Obviously the brakes are not working. The radiator is present.
The interior was gutted as shown (as found) and there is no glass except windshield, which is not salvageable. There is rust in lower floor pan as shown.
There is NO title, but will provide a bill of sale.
No running boards were found in the barn, so they are not available. Comes with an additional grille shell, interior window frames, front bumper, dome light, extra louvered sheet metal, and seat cushion coils etc.
The story on this inherited car is that it is from Nebraska and was used as a high school driver and put into the barn when it was "retired" from that purpose. Not much else is known about it, but it is truly as "original" as they come. This car would make one cool rat rod ride with its "NO NONSENSE" patina and classic lines. Contact us for additional pictures or questions.
Give this old girl a new home. She deserves it!
