1923 Ford Roadster with a 1955 Dodge Super Red Ram HEMI, and a 727 Torqueflite, turning a 9-inch ford rear with a 3:55 Posi. The 270 Hemi in this car is freshly rebuilt and has new pistons (+.060”) / Chris Neilsen 268 duration hydraulic cam / Hemi Hot Heads 3/8" adjustable pushrods / Tri-Power using (3) Holley 94's on an Offenhauser aluminum intake. All of the top end gaskets are new as is the waterpump and head gaskets. Chassis was custom built for the car, and the body is fiberglass. I don't know the manufacturer, but I think it's an extended body, as it seems roomier than other T's I have owned.

Car was a long term build, and was just recently fired up for the first time. The car runs and drives down the road, and has good brakes....I have run it down the road several times as I have been tuning / tweaking on it, but it needs some work before it hits the highway...Mostly just common sense safety stuff like hardware checks / etc.

A unique car that is sure to go up in value as the early Hemi engines seem to get more expensive every day

Lots of time and money has been spent on the build of this car, but I can't keep them all!!!!

This car has a clean / clear Illinois title as a 1923 Ford Roadster, so getting plates and insurance should be no problem.

Original builder started collecting parts for this car long ago...As I recall the first part he bought was the 1936 Ford School Bus headlights he found back in 1955. He started on the car long ago, and got it ready to fire, then life circumstances stepped in, and the car was parked for something like 16 years. Fortunately the 2nd owner properly stored it, and cared about it enough to keep it in good shape. I got lucky and was the one who got to bring it to life after all those years. The original builder did a good job, and thought things out quite well, I have been impressed with everything I have seen so far with this car. The 2nd owner was a big part of the reason I bought this car, he is a great guy, and a good friend of the builder. He never did get the car done, but he kept it in excellent condition, and that made all the difference.

I have put a bunch of time and money and work into this car, but I have also thoroughly enjoyed working on it. Add to that the time and money the original builder spent on the car, and you are looking at a fairly substantial investment.

My original plan was to put a truck bed on it, as I like that look more than the "Turtle Deck”...The rear deck is removable with (3) bolts, and even the body could be removed and replaced with a steel one if you want to go complete old school

With a fairly minimal amount of work it would be ready to cruise....It does run and drive and stop right now, but needs tweaking / tuning and a good safety check out.

THINGS I WOULD WANT TO KNOW BEFORE I BID ON THE CAR:

The water temp / volts / oil pressure gauges are new, and are all hooked up and working...The other gauges are vintage ones that are just installed for looks....You can use them if you'd like as they are included with the car, but I planned to replace them. If you run them, they will need some clean up / restoration work.

All of the tires are brand new, but they have been on the car for quite a while...I would balance them up and run them, but ultimately it's your call

The car runs and drives, but I have maybe 10 miles on it, so expect to have to do some tuning/tweaking on it before you hit the open road...The money has already been spent, so don't worry about that.

The passenger side door is just bolted in place...A hinge kit is included, but not installed yet...It's easy to step into the car, so you don't have to hinge the door if you don't want to

I just replaced the brake master cylinder and brake hoses as a precaution

I HAVE A CLEAN / CLEAR TITLE IN HAND
