Car description

Nice 1960 Ford Starliner 352 4 Bbl. Real Y Code. I am selling my 1960 Starliner. It was a project car I did over the Winter. Here is a brief synopsis...if your interested afterwords..keep reading. The paint is new (PPG ), but it has slight patina so it matches the original trim and bumpers. This car has all original parts except for what's noted. It's overall a nice unmolested Starliner. The entire drivedrain was rebuilt professionally. Everything works. You want a head turning rare car you can drive across the country...this is it...if you need a trailer queen trophy deal, this isn't for you. It's No Reserve.
Engine: original 352 4 bbl. rebuilt by the people who build our race motors. Except for the intake, carb, and cam...it's Blue Oval. This was a professional rebuild, not an oil change and gaskets. It's new inside. Erson cam (mild). Edelbrock 4 bbl. and intake.
Headers: Custom ceramic coated in and out by Stan and Ford Drivetrain Performance in Oregon. Tri Y long...with ball coupler ends. This was stunning work by Stan.
Exhaust. Custom Steve Dodson dual exhaust. 2 1/2”. Killer sound without being obnoxious,
Brakes: Disc in front. Drum in back. Nice.
Tansmission: original Ford O Matic. Rebuilt by Loveland Classic Transmission. Shifts crisp and probably better than new.
Body: This car was amazingly straight when I got it which is why I bought it frankly. I Painted it with PPG products . No rust issues. I had to some minor dings to remove but nothing major at all. Rockers and under rockers look like the day it was made. Pretty awesome really. Not perfect. But better than you'd expect.
Frame: Ridiculously nice. No patches or hillbilly bs. Some original undercoating. It's still mostly black. Minor surface rust. Minor. Solid floors. The gas tank has been replaced
Interior: it's redone totally, the door panels and headliner are originals. I found original doorpanels...I about fell over when I saw them for sale. Nice. The seats and carpet are new. I also used Kilmat sound deadner throughout the floor. New custom package tray, One guy in the world makes them correctly and it wasn't cheap, Nice job! All new door gaskets and bumpers etc.
Glass: All original and NICE. Minor imperfections if you look hard. No cracks or chips.
Electrical: All works as should. Lights Horn (replaced button) Blinkers. All go. Heater blower? Yep.
Chrome /TrIm : original and nice for 60 yrs old. Not a lot of dings. Certainly nothing major. Better than most.
Overall: The car never appears to have been hit or have replacement panels etc. It's just a really good old car. You can hop in and go. They are fairly rare and the likelihood of another one being at your car function is almost zero. I have the original wheels and fender skirts as well.
The car or it's title will not be going anywhere until the car is fully funded with cash or a bank transfer. My wife and I own the car. It's titled in our name. We are not dealers. I will see th car gets on a transport if needed and such, Thanks for looking. Click Contact seller and ask questions or give us your number and we will call you back. You are bidding to buy the car, not to see if you want to buy it. If the right offer comes along from SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CAN AFFORD IT I will end the auction. But this time you'll have to prove you can purchase it before I end it. Thanks
