Car description

Up for auction is my 1966 Ford F100 Long-bed. This has been a great truck for me and I hope it goes to someone who will also really enjoy it. It's a two owner (same family) truck. I bought this in Sept. of 2002 from my father in law who purchased it new in Clinton TN. This truck has spent most of its life in either the Knoxville or Chattanooga area. When I bought it. it had 98. 65 miles. Since then. I've only put on about 2500 miles. It was more of a toy than an actual vehicle. With only two owners. you know it's been well cared for. Most everything is original; you'll notice the oil bath filter is included. but has been replaced with a paper filter. It has a new timing chain and water pump (put on a year ago. and I did keep the originals). and has fairly new tires (Sept '13). I have a few extras to go with it. You'll notice the oil filters and the truck repair manuals in the pictures but not pictured is the original owners manual and a set of snow chains which will be included. The 352 V8 runs well and the three speed on the column shifts smoothly. It also has a built in overdrive. It does not have power steering and it does not have power brakes. It has surface rust and will need new rubbers around the driver and passenger windows. I don't drive it in the rain. and I keep it in the garage or under a carport. No major rust places in the cab or the doors. The padded dash has one crack that runs from front to back in the same spot as the speaker. The bed has one small rust hole that's smaller than a quarter in the front left corner. The hood has one bad rust area in the very front by the grill (please see pic). This truck is in really good shape for being a '66 model. I will gladly answer questions. but please allow 24-36 hours for a reply. $500 deposit via PayPal within 2 days of auction close. The rest in cash before I let the truck go. Will not ship. Buyer must pick up.
