1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra 4-Speed T-Top

Here for your consideration is a 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra. This was a one year only package available on the Mustang and less than 5000 were built. This car has been parked for a couple of years now. I started the car on a separate can of gas and it ran quite well. It needs restoring and is worth the effort due to the rarity of the car. This is a 4-Speed car with factory T-Tops. The engine bay still retains the braces that were only installed on T-Top cars. It is all original with none of the mods typically seen on these cars such as aftermarket carb or headers. The original rubber three piece air dam is off the car, but included and in good condition. I believe the odometer reading of 85849 miles to be correct. The but tag and Marti report both authenticate this car and the options it was equipped with. This is not a rusty car making the body and paint work simple and straightforward. This car is sold as is and is for sale locally, so the auction may end at any time in the event of a sale.
