Car description

NO RESERVE!!!!!

You are looking at a true Barn Find 1968 Mustang GT S-code 390 4 Speed Fastback!! This car was stored away many years ago and just came out of storage last week. This is a very sought after car with great a great color combination Candyapple Red on black! Clear Title. These S-code 4 speed GT's are getting very hard to find.

The drive-train is all correct and I believe it is original to the car. The motor does run but it has knock (not sure what the knock is but the motor would be rebuilt anyway) it is running off a can under the hood not off the gas tank. The carburetor is not original. The clutch works and the tranny works & shifts good. It has the original 9 inch rear end. It also has Power Disc Brakes but the calipers are removed so the car rolls easily.

The interior is pretty complete other than some of the convenience control panel is missing the lights and some of the wires appear to be cut. The headliner is ripped. The 8,000 RPM tach is still in the car and works. There are speaker holes cut in the rear panel, all other panels are not cut or broke.

The body has had a repaint at one time and the rear quarters were repaired. The panels in front of and behind the gas tank have rust. The rear rails are pretty nice other than the back 6 inches or so need to be repaired. It just has front floor pans setting in place, it needs floor pans, torque boxes, and front rail repair toward the rear. The front of the front rails look nice. It needs a total restoration but this car is well worthy of it. The value of these S-codes seem to keep going up and up in value.

I would like the car picked up within 14 days but I understand it is hard at times to work with trucking companies.

A $1000 deposit is due within 24 hours and the remainder due within 7 days by wire transfer, cash in person, bank check. If a check is used the car can't leave until funds have cleared the bank.

Please ask any and all questions. Thanks, Jeff
