Car description

Up for auction is our beautiful 1965 Mustang Convertible - been in the family for years! Just bought a new Mustang, and don't have room to keep two ponies in the garage.
This is the one you've been waiting for - don't miss out! It gets looks & whistles "nice car!" Everywhere it goes. It kills me to sell it, but just not able to keep it any longer. It's even been on the historic Mother Road (Route 66).
V8, 289, Pony Interior, Convertible...engine starts right up & runs great. Rarely do you see this type pop up on Ebay; nearly everything on the car is original. I can't even describe how much fun it is to drive on the road...everybody loves it & brings back feelings of nostalgiafor all! It's fun to see people do double & triple takes to see it!
NO RESERVE!

----Under the Hood:- The odometer hasn't worked for years, so it's impossible to tell exactly how many miles it has. It is driven very rarely...maybe 1x every month or 6 weeks.- Just opened the top yesterday & saw there is a slight tear on the back left side.- Convertible back window will need to be replaced, as it has a tear.- Just had convertible motor completely replaced, great working condition.- Engine is in great shape & purrs like a kitten.- After market radio was installed before we bought it.- Pony interior has a couple of small tears (probably to be expected since its 50+ years old).- Had the original 3 spoke Mustang hubcaps.- Speedometer bobs around a bit, not sure why & haven't care to have it looked at.- Gas gauge isn't accurate I don't think, but I drive it so rarely it's difficult to tell.- Paint has some minor chips.- Comes with all work/repair receipts.
