Car description

This car has been in the family since new. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles.
It passed emissions testing with flying colors last year. But the car was not driven much last year and now it runs like a piece of, well you know!
I put a ton of money in it, new sensors, etc. and got tired of working on it so I went out and bought a new truck (FORD of course!)
I think, the valves are either sticking or burnt. Sticking is more likely if a car has not been driven much. But I don't know. It does have almost 250K miles on it, but it was running so well and all of a sudden it doesn't.
You might be able to get by with a valve job but I can not guarantee that. So the car is being sold AS IS, with no warranty etc. etc. for parts or rebuild.
If I was younger, I would drop a crate engine in it as the 5.0 engines are fairly cheap now.
The car is painted Ford Diamond Blue (early Mustang color) but it was never wet sanded and buffed. So the pictures make it look better than what it is.It was originally black with a blue cloth interior which had to be special ordered as it was not a standard color combination.
The car does have a CLEAN and clear Tennesse title.
My Dad did wreck it about 20 years ago and the insurance company would not repair it as the cost to repair it was more than what the car was worth. i.e. salvage title. He bought it back from the insurance company, drove it a while and gave it to me.
When I got the car titled in my name the state of TN dropped "salvage" from the title as the car was over 10 years old.
The damage was mostly sheet metal, no glass was broken (although the windshield is now cracked when the trim was taken off for the latest paint job) . I repaired the car and drove it another 100,000+ miles.

AGAIN: This car has aCLEAN and clear Tennesse title.
The car does have wear and tear. Still has dents dings, etc. But most of it's life was spent in Tennesse and it only had minimal rust that needed to be fixed before it was painted.
