1989 Ford Cabriolet Cruiser, These were custom built to order, it's not a home made, backyard built truck, 460 fuel injected V8 2wd. 3 speed automatic tranny, they were built on a Ford RV chassis. 8 foot bed, captains chairs with rear bench that folds down to a bed, custom built center console with built in ice box. Very rare truck. truck is super clean with some minor surface rust on a few spots, passenger side rocker and roof drip edge is only surface rust, it's not rotted out, it looks worse in the pictures than it actually is. the beds were made with flat steel floors and sides, with fiberglass bedsides to mimic the original ford dually bed, it needs a little work on the bed floor braces. the front bed brace has some rot on it, and the bed floor section that attaches to the sides has some rot, the bed is still usable, the floor section itself is not rotted out, just some spots on the outer edges and the braces. the truck frame itself is super clean, as is the cab floors. everything is undercoated Interior is in great shape, aside from the headliner needs a good cleaning, the pictures make the headliner look as if it has water stains, however none of the windows or seams have any water leaks, which was very common on these. the truck was water tested for leaks. and has no leaks at all. truck runs and drives like great and goes down the road with no issues. please note. this is a one owner truck, with the odometer reading 22k miles. I have the original title from when it was purchased new. Carfax reports show service records documenting the miles very accurately to back this up, HOWEVER Carfax reports possible odometer error, this is why, when the truck had 21,554 miles it had its yearly state safety inspection done, the following year when the inspection was done, the odometer was written as 121,755. the truck has a 5 digit odometer. the inspector must have assumed it was 121k and wrote that instead of 21,755 which is what the actual odometer showed. I have included the Carfax pictures to show the odometer history since new. the truck had a very easy life and was used as more of a toy than a work horse. which unfortunately was the downfall of the flat steel that was used to make the bed. please feel free to email me your phone number and I will call you back and answer any questions you may have thanks and happy bidding!!
