Car description

1969 Mustang Fastback

Mach 1

This car has been in storage for the last 20 years. I purchased it from a friend. The intention is to sell the Mustang for $15k plus and I will include my Boss 302 Roller Engine

If the auction meets $15k, this is what I have for the engine: Crate 302 roller from Ford Racing, E303 Cam, GT40p Heads Ported and Polished, Edelbrock RMP Intake, MSD Billet Distributor, CVF Racing Billet Pulley set, Aluminum Radiator and Billet Oil Pan. I also have an automatic transmission that I will include. It is suppose to be built for 600hp. (That is what I was told). I will also include any other misc. parts I may have. The engine is listed @ $6,600 retail and that doesn't include any of the adds.

The condition of the car is very nice, but it isn't perfect.

  • You can decode the door tag for your info.
  • The engine still has the original 1969 buck tag on it. So, I would say it is all original. (with no guarantees) I have not started the engine, nor turned it over.
  • The torq boxes look very nice. The dust shield on the passenger side shows some signs of rust.
  • The floor is nice. (look at the pictures) but, on the passenger side, I found a couple small holes. Patches would fix them.
  • The frame rails are real nice, but the last 10 inches have the characteristic rust of a mustang. The leaf springs are supported well, but best practice would be to put in short frame rails in the short run.
  • Interior is all original and not beat up. The headliner is shot.
  • Quarter panels are original. There are pictures of the "inside" shot of both sides.
  • The car has been painted a couple times. You can see a different color in the door jambs. The last paint job, demonstrates that the car was stripped. I say that, because the roof has paint flaking and it is bare metal underneath.
  • All glass is in real nice shape
  • Front and back bumpers are very nice
  • Battery tray is rusted
  • Core support is very clean
  • No rust on the top of the inner structure ledge that the fender bolts too.
  • Doors have some filler in them.

The car will roll and load. It is in operative. I have had several mustangs and can answer most questions. I have a few pictures on my phone too. So, if you need something more specific, I might be able to supply it to you.

I have the car advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. A $200 deposit is required at the completion of the auction. All deposits are non-refundable.

I have shipped car internationally. Check your shipping from your side and your import tax before bidding.

Thanks for the interest.

Tim
