This was not a standard restoration project and no factory has ever produced a unit with quality to match this fully restored ¾ ton truck. From the outstanding Meadow Green 2-stage paint (original color) to the polished oak bed, to the stunning interior, this restoration spared nothing. The body and paint are virtually flawless. A perfectly detailed engine... compartment houses a rebuilt 239ci flathead V8 that the owner states is the original motor. The 3-speed manual transmission utilizes a floor-mounted shifter and a factory differential houses 4.88:1 gearing. (The original 4-speed transmission w/creeper-gear is included in the sale.) All electrics are positive ground 6-volt. The interior is totally restored back to original. A comfortable bench seat is reupholstered in period-correct grey cloth w/vinyl trim. The classic dashboard holds a factory 'gauge package' and an AM radio from a 1952 Ford sedan (original F2 radio included). Side and rear windows are tinted and adjustable vent windows provide cooling.
