Car description

I am proud to offer this car for sale for a friend of mine. This car is in unbelievable over-restored type condition-THE BEST MODEL T I HAVE EVER SEEN. Those of you that know about these cars know that this was undoubtably the best and really the last year for the(ALL) brass Model T's. This car was assembled at the Ford Factory the last week of September of 1911-Ironically we are offering it for sale in the last week of September. It was shipped by rail to Chicago, ILL. It has all the authentic components and accessories including the 12 rivet rear end, two piece drive shaft, and the correct 1911 engine (serial number 69117). Also original to the car are the Mint condition E & J headlamps, sidelamps, and tail lamps-and is equipped with the carbide generator. The valid Iowa Title includes the engine serial number as the Vin. number. The coil box is an original Heinz, and is complete with the narrow coils. The smooth running engine has the authentic Kingston 5-ball carburetor included, but a later T carburetor is currently being used(Kingston carburetor is pictured on the bench). Since this is a late 1911, it does not have the "open valve" engine and does have the improved rear end, and front timing gear cover. The leather interior is tufted, and the car has an excellent top with roll up rear curtain. The present owner has driven the car sparingly(a couple times per year) during his 14 year ownership. The restoration is excellent with no deterioration present, and very complete including the proper pin striping on the body and wheels. It looks and drives excellent. Overall condition is better than "Museum quality". Once again, I am listing the car for my Friend FRED. He can answer all questions you might have at this number...319-234-5973 We welcome inspections from interested parties in person or third party with some notice. There will be no warranty included in the sale of the car as with all vintage cars. The Buyer is asked to make a $500. non refundable deposit thru Paypal within 48 hours of auctions end. Final payment to be made within 7 days by bank transfer or Cashiers check. An enclosed transport would be recommended for moving the car, to be paid for by the buyer. thanks for viewing my auction and have a great day!
