These vehicles are mostly trade-ins from local new car dealerships and other dealers in the area. I buy and sell these vehicles "as-traded". They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified). detailed. or fixed up for retail sale. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability. but I am not a mechanic. Please understand that these are used vehicles. They are not perfect. They have the wear and tear associated with age and mileage. Please read the full description including Terms & Conditions and Fees. I want you to have accurate expectations about what you are buying so you can bid with confidence. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is Ford F-250 HD pickup. This regular cab truck has the long 8ft bed. 5. 8L V8 engine. automatic transmission. and four wheel drive. This truck has the base level trim with the heavy duty vinyl floors. stain proof vinyl bench seat. and manual windows. The truck has very low miles for the age. The six digit digital odometer and title both read a hair over 70k. As you can see in the pictures. this is a solid truck. The body has a couple of the expected dings and nicks. but no major dents and the only body rust I see is a small spot above each fender. The metallic green paint has oxidized from sitting in the sun. I’m pretty sure with some rubbing compound and elbow grease you could make it shine again. However. I don’t have a heated garage and it is much too cold for me to spend several hours freezing my fingers off to do it. The truck has a couple nice accessories: solid steel step bars. a Lund windshield visor. and window vent shades. The tailgate opens easily. but one of the hinges is broken. The 8ft bed has a solid floor. The interior of this truck is the work truck trim. The heavy vinyl floor and bench seat are stainproof and easy to clean. The seat has the expected split on the outer edges from sliding in and out. The rear window is the optional sliding glass. Te driver's door latch could use a some adjustment. Unless you close it just right. it will rattle. (It is firmly closed though. it isn't going to fly open or anything!) The factory stereo sounds good. The heater works well and the truck is A/C equipped. The windows crank up and down easily. The mechanicals of the truck are in good shape. The 5. 8L engine fires up easily and makes good power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes stop the truck easily. The steering is smooth and not loose like a lot of older Ford trucks. The four wheel drive. with manual transfer case and locking hubs. works like it should. When the four wheel drive is engaged. the transfer case is a little noisy. I'm pretty sure it is the output shaft bearing. The suspension is firm and tight. This truck has heavy duty leaf springs. front and rear. to handle heavy loads and harsh conditions. There are no check engine lights. This feels like a very solid truck. I’m pretty sure this was someone’s ‘weekend projects’ truck for years and for good reason. If you need something with bulletproof reliability. low cost of maintenance. and a ton of power and payload; you just can’t beat this combination.
