Car description

Rust Free 1988 Bronco II, 2.9 V-6, five speed manual transmission, two speed transfer case, cruise control, power windows, power locks, and power steering, air conditioning {upgraded to 134a Freon}. Everything works like it should. I up graded the radio for hands free cell phone use. I bought this truck from a school district in California who used it to transport bus drivers. 104,000 original miles when I bought it, current mileage is less than 114,000. I bought this truck to keep and use as an around town driver and a hunting rig. What I’ve done to it since I bought it; under the hood- new timing gears, chain and tensioner, water pump, radiator hoses, distributer cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires. Replaced the CV joint drive shaft with a “U” joint drive shaft, added an over load spring to each leaf spring, raised the front a couple of inches, new shock absorbers all the way around, added a class three receiver hitch, new oversize 8 ply all terrain tires {99% tread left}, spare tire to match, new power window motor in passengers door, replaced the headlights with halogen lights. The things I haven’t got to yet are, compound and wax the paint and fix the slow leak in the A/C system {I’ve added two cans in 4 years and it blows cold}. Clean Texas title. I’ve worked on it and replaced items like I was going to keep it for a long time. Drive it home today and play with it.

I’ve had it in the mountains and the mud, knock on wood, never been stuck! It’s a blast to drive and play with.

The only reason I’m selling it is the wife says I need to get rid of some of my toys, I don’t drive it much, less than 10k miles in three years, so I can’t argue much. I’ve been dragging my feet for the last six months to listing it, and now I’m out of excuses so it’s going to the high bidder. I do have it listed for sale locally so if it sells I have the right to close the auction.If you have any questions or want to come by and kick the tires and take it for a drive, just let me know. I’m retired and here most of the time, or I’ll be here when it’s convenient for you.

I can deliver for $1.25 a loaded mile{google map miles from my house to yours}

Checks must clear my bank before vehicle leaves my house.

Have a great day.
