RUST-

The car is very solid underneath including the floors, frame rails, rockers, etc. Some minor pin holes were found in the floor. The passenger side trunk floor, and area by gas tank, is rusted due to a battery being mounted in the past, but the frame rail underneath is solid. The car was covered by a tarp creating rust around the rear window and trunk corners. There are small areas of rust in the door corners. The original driver’s door with tag is included, and solid. Everything is shown in the pictures.

DAMAGE-

It was obvious that there was old damage with poor repair hidden by bondo. To show this, I removed the bondo to reveal the old repairs to the rear quarters and roof. The original roof and rear quarters could be repaired by a skilled body expert if originality is preferred, but this would be very time consuming. Another option is to replace the full rear quarters, roof skin, filler panel, and trunk corners under the window with new pieces (cost of new parts approximately $1,500.00), and this would resolve all of the damage and rust issues in this area.

Drive Train-

The original motor is gone. I do have the correct, born with, RUG toploader with the car’s VIN# stamped on the ear. The original drive shaft and 9” rear is included as well.

Interior-

Most of the rear fastback-specific pieces are in the car as the pictures show. The metal bands and trap door are missing. This was a non-fold-down car. Headliner bows are also included. Glass is original and good.

Bidding-

Please refer to all of the pictures. The car is also available for inspection any time, just contact me. Be sure you have everything you need before placing a bid, as this is being sold with no reserve, as-is. I am always happy to answer any and all questions in a timely manner.

PAYMENT IN FULL is due within 3 days of the auction’s end, no exceptions. The car must be picked up within 30 days unless a previous arrangement is agreed to for a longer period.

Good luck!! And thanks for looking- Jack
