Car description

1977 FORD F250 SUPERCAB PICKUP TRUCK - SUPER CLEAN - ALL ORIGINAL 2ND OWNER - SUPER CLEAN- HIGHLY FACTORY OPTIONED VEHICLE- FACTORY MATCHING NUMBERS MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION - Pickup drives straight. stops straight. brakes straight and runs perfect. This truck runs absolutely perfect. The first thing I noticed is how quite it is in the cab when its running for a big block motor. This truck stayed in one family and had one owner for 37 years. They used the truck for family trips. it hauled around a 4. 00lb camper and the original owner set the truck up right to haul just about anything you would want. Its equipped with a Ford 460 big block motor 7. 5 liter. He had factory installed 4:10 gear ratio in the rear end. The C-6 transmission was upgraded with a shift kit and RV torque converter. and the rear leaf springs were upgraded to heavy duty adjustable leaf springs. He had a oversized radiator installed as well. They hauled around a 4. 00lb camper and it does it no problem. With the rear leaf springs the truck sits level. This truck was well loved and always well maintained. And to this day is untouched. He also added a back up battery. A tachometer (which isn't working) just needs to be hooked up. You can see the original engine stickers still on the valve covers. The body and paint is in amazing condition for its age. Has a couple very minor dents on the drivers side that maybe easily popped out. The factory color is copper metallic with Tan trim. And is in remarkable condition with minor scratches from normal use that most appear to be easily buffed out. Two small rust spots which have been treated to stop the rust process and ready for touch up paint. The engine runs very strong and transmission shifts nice and smooth. The odometer says just over 27. 00 miles but we know that the odometer flipped over one time. So the actual mileage on the truck is over 127. 00 by a couple hundred miles. The tires are in great shape and the truck comes with a spare tire. Most of the original jack equipment is in its places stowed under the 50/50 bench seat. The interior looks in great condition and is completely original. I had an upholstery shop repair a couple tears in the seat vinyl so that the tears would not get worse. I do have a custom saddle cloth seat cover that comes with the truck and I will post a picture of it tomorrow. Everything works except for the gas gauge and the actual gauge works fine. the gas tank needs a new sending unit. The dome light works. the blinkers work. the windshield wipers works. brake lights work. the dash lights up. And headlights work as they should. The factory AC is still all hooked up and it probably just needs to be charged and probably the lines cleaned out but that's just my guess. There is a switch in the cab to turn on the camper light witch works as it should. This truck is perfectly setup and ready to go for a camper. I purchased the vehicle from the original owner because he's getting up there in age. and asked for my help. While cleaning this truck up I completely fell in love with it. This thing is amazing condition for its age. And you can tell its been well taken care of. I have all the original documentation that was kept by the owner. Including smog certs. receipts for services. and the original owner manual. The Truck is currently register in California and "Non-op" and there are no back fees. it passed smog no problem. And is ready for the new owner to transfer title. I've sold a few vehicles on Ebay and you can check my feedback I'm honest about everything good or Bad. And will answer any question you have honestly. I do my best to make this process as easy as possible. The truck is being sold in "As Is" condition there is no warranty implied. Buyer is responsible for any shipping. but i'll be happy to assist in anyway I can. Don't assume anything ask any question about the truck. I tried my best to describe it the best I can. If you have a chance to make it to Upland California. do yourself a favor and come by and see this special truck. If you love Ford trucks like I do you'll see what I mean about it being a special vehicle. Call or Text my name is Ron 951-743-1362
