Car description

This 1975 Ford Bronco Ranger just underwent a whole kit and caboodle restoration. It started from a dry, original paint truck that was a good candidate for a full restoration.
Here's what's been done....
Mechanical:
  • Factory original 302 V-8 professionally rebuil, bored .030, ground crank, resized rods, ARP rod bolts, main bearings, cam bearings, camshaft, timing set, hardened seats, valves, springs, retainers, pistons, pins, water pump, fuel pump, thermostat, alternator, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, starter. Everything under the hood runs as NEW.
  • Original C4 Automatic transmission and transfer case rebuilt by Hi-Tech Transmissions.
  • New carburetor
  • New dual exhaust with flow master 30 series mufflers
  • New Premium 2.5" Wild Horses suspension lift with Bilstein Shocks.
  • New brakes all the way around; pads, springs, slave cylinders and drums
  • 5 factory original wheels were blasted and powder coated by Imperial Powder Coating and wrapped in New 31x10.50x15 BFG KO2 A/T tires.
  • New rear pinion seal
  • All fluids front to back have been changed
  • It does not currently have A/C but can be added for an additional $2,640
Exterior/Paint:
  • Prior to paint the truck got new driver and passenger floor pans, new front fenders (they were dented up, not rusty), new driver and passenger rear quarter (it had cut quarters.) The remaining minor rust in places like the inner fenders was cut out to bare, clean metal. It was then properly repaired with correct gauge metal, not body filler. After the metal fab, the original body was dismantled and painted in base/clear, Limestone Green Metallic. This color is original to the year but not the original color of the truck. The truck was completely painted, inside and out, including the engine compartment. The undercarriage has been cleaned with high pressure steam, inspected to be free of rust and coated in 3M undercoat for protection. It then received a new set of correct Ranger decals from Drew Peroni-Broncoitis.
  • New gas caps
  • New body side molding kit
  • New grill trim kit
  • New FORD emblem on grill
  • New bronco script emblems
  • New mirrors
  • New headlights and chrome trim rings
  • New antenna
  • New windshield wipers and blades
  • New door handles
  • New blinker lenses, tail lights and bezels
  • New hydraulic hood struts
  • New air inlet boxes
  • All new weatherstripping throughout the whole truck.
Interior:
  • The interior was completely stripped and refinished. Improvements include:
  • New headliner and headliner bow
  • New complete carpet kit in correct "Olive" from ACC with matching floor mats front and back
  • New wiper linkage cover
  • New dash pad
  • New glove box emblem and glove box liner
  • New RetroSound radio with Bluetooth and 6”x9" Sony speakers in the rear
  • New wood steering wheel (this can be changed if someone wants an original wheel)
  • New door straps, door handles, window cranks, door cups
  • New complete, original avocado houndstooth interior from The Bronco Hut including door panels and rear quarter panels, seat foams, seat belts, hinge and hinge covers. The seat frames were completely dismantled, blasted and painted prior to installing new upholstery.
  • New carpet hold downs
