Car description

Hey everyone
Decide to sell our 1969 Mach 1 off with Marti report & matching numbers. Here's full information and everything that I know of ... will be very long read than others but hope it cover everything I can think of.
So you know what you bid on and getting. First and foremost ... this is not SHOW/SEMA car nor trailer queen. This car gets driven on weekends so it have scratches, rock chips and flaws. I have more than 30 pictures, videos and so forth I will be more than HAPPY to send thru text.
Let's start with details ...
History: This Mach 1 was ordered new by a GA State Trooper from Henderson Motor Co out of Chesnee SC. He ordered it on 3/24/69 and got the car on 5/23/69. It remain with him for next 40+ years and then sold it to second owner who then sold it to us.
Its always been garage kept all its life and we are current its 3rd owner. Block, panels, floor, frame and so forth are original to car ( checked out by private party ) and you can confirm it in person as all numbers are present.
Here's numbers crunching/decode:
VIN: 9T02M190719
9 - 1969
T - Built at Metuchen Plant
02 - Mustang 2 Door SportsRoof
M - 351 4V V-8 Engine
190719 - Serial Number
63C - Mustang Mach 1 (2) Door Sportsroof
C5 - Black Jade Paint with black out hood treatment
3A - Black Knit Vinyl Mach 1 Hi Back Bucket seats
15D - Scheduled for build April 15 1969
22 - Charlotte DSO
9 - 3.25 Conventional Rear Axle
X - FMX Selected Shift Automatic Transmission
It also came with these extras such as following:
- Power Steering
- AM Raido
- Tinted Glass ( complete )
- Black Out Hood w/ Scoop
- Deep Chin Spoiler
- Rear Window Slats
- Matching Wing on Rear Deck
- Bonus ( built in & working ) Directional Lights on Scoop ( Hard to Find )
Body: All original from factory. Pretty much straight lines in most of places and everything open/close in right places. Only problem I haven't gotten to address yet was when I closed trunk after taking pictures ... it wouldn't open. Mechanical inside the lock got jammed. Floor is original to car as well so that say lot about condition.
Paint: The original paint was Black Jade and over time the original owner decide to turn it into Candy Red as seen currently. It shows pretty well but I'm not going to say it will win SEMA because it wont. There is rock chips and scratches/wear from driving on road. With good bath and maybe wax ... it will show pretty good. There looks like few spot where painter didn't prep the body correct before paint so it show bubble and paint dripping however you will have to LOOK to find them. I'm upfront about this so you are aware even tho if you don't find them. Easily fixed with small touch up if desire ( we don't see any reason to ). Easy what I call a 1 or 2 footer car.
Interior: In very nice shape. Got high back buckets. Floor console. Like new dash pad. New carpeting & deep pile floor mats with running horse logo etc. Dash has been upgraded to new digital readout gauges by Dakota giving it a nice modern touch up ( need dial down with sets up ). But best part is there's still original dash that I've kept and put inside trunk.
Drive train: All matching # 351 V8 w/ FMX. Both fully professional rebuild by 2nd owner. Power Steering. Power Disc brakes. 3.23 Gear w/ Trac-lok limited slip. Also comes with Magnum 500 & 235/60/16 BFG T/A Radials. Original 81k miles on body and rebuild on drive train was done 75k miles.
MISC: Rubbers, chromes, glasses, trims and others are original to car.
Title is Clear/Clean with 81,600 miles and shows as actual miles.
Drives, feel like, smell and rumble like it came off show room in 1969. So you know its a real deal original matching numbers car and act like one. This is only one of 2,453 Black Jade factory painted and only 1,590 with Black Mach 1 Bucket Seat. So this is only one of few triple black mustang exist then top it off ... not lot of them came with options the ones this have.
So ... that's all I can think of. You will be hard pressed to find all original body and matching number these days - this is the REAL DEAL. Ready for night out, cruises, shows or whatnot. This is easy a 2 - 3 footer ALL Day long ... obvious isn't a PERFECT car but why own perfect car when you can own this worry free and have blast without worry about ruin something.
Here's copy & paste from Nada Guides so that pretty much describe the car at its best -
Average Retail Value
This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer”.
High Retail Value
This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Some vehicles may be considered "matching numbers" vehicles.
Average Retail Value:
Will come with Marti Report ( frame and paperwork ). Again ... I have tons of pictures and video I will be more than happy to send thru text. I'm not dealer or anything so I have to sell car as is and without warranty obviously.
Car must be paid for and picked up in person. Willing to hold car for few days to give time figure out transport part if needed but car has to be paid full first and then we can go from there. Have no real REASON for sale ... just looking for something different and with new job/kid on way so a bit busy.
Cheers!
P.S. HAVE FUNDS ready - obvious bid if plan to buy so don't waste neither your or my time. Easier on everyone this way :-) Don't ask me what reserve price is or so - just bid what you are willing to pay for it - fair. Will let the auction run its course unless I have cash in person BEFORE reserve price is met otherwise.
Work 2/3 shifts and live out of town but will be more than happy to make time to meet in person if want to check the car out, hear it runs and check it out (I will drive it if want to take it for spin) however to do so I will have to take time off from work therefore please be serious buyer - would really appreciate it.
