Car description

When it comes to Model A Fords, everybody loves the sport coupe with the rumble seat! This little car, "Rosie", is great fun to drive and tour around town - a head-turner.Accommodates 2 adults in cab and 2 adults (or kids) in the rumble seat.Upholstery and roof interior fabric in great condition. Newer tires, including spare. Will, eventually, need a new paint job as there is chipping on the roof and crackling on the fenders. Otherwise very presentable: ready to drive around town for fun, parades, and car shows, to restore to showroom quality, or, perhaps, to be the foundation for a great hot rod or street rod project. Originally from San Antonio Texas, now in Southern California so she was never exposed to harsh winters/salted roads. Not sure of actual mileage as the odometer is not functioning.
All original engine and body - restored in the late 1960s. We are the car's 3rd owner.
List of service/repairs done in 2010: Removed gas gauge and dismantled/rebuilt the gauge and distributor, modified rumble seat stops so lid could lean back further, pressure washed gas tank and flushed with alcohol. Installed new fuel lines and shutoff, battery hold down frame, new fuse mount, ignition cable clamp, adjusted throttle mechanism, timed engine. Replaced shoe springs, greased front bearings, adjusted all brakes.
List of service/repairs done in 2016: Dismantled and cleaned carburetor, sediment bowl, cleaned spark plugs, cleaned corroded wires, adjusted headlights, serviced transmission and steering gear box with 600 weight oil and checked differential. The mechanic that serviced the car noted that "the sheet metal on all of the fenders is in great shape - almost like new old stock - very uncommon." Ready to drive. LOW RESERVE.

New reproduction "aooogah" horn installed in 2016 - works great - sounds like the original. New battery installed in 2016.
