Car description

Family owned since new. Have orginial bill of sale and owners manual but haven't found it yet. I will, I promise, it's in a box somewhere.
This van was purchased by my Father in 1967 and used as a flower delivery van for 21 years. I then painted it red and used it as a sign business vehicle until 2014.
Engine was rebuilt locally in the mid 1980's. Master brake cylinder was replaced in 1989. Heater core was replaced around 2005. Rear seal was replaced around 2007.
This van has always been dependable and I never thought I'd sell but I need money so I hope it finds a good home.
When it was painted red and used as a sign business vehicle in 1988 we put about 2 gallons of bondo, mostly in the rear fenders around the wheels where tire chains had beat holes in the metal. It has stayed in, was undercoated well and is still there. It's not professionally painted by any means but looks okay. The paint on it now is not auto enamel but rather a rolled coat of exterior latex I painted it with in 2012 - I did it well, removed all lights and trim and taped off, and even masked and sprayed all the door jamb cracks and around windows. I then hand painted most of the eagle and flag designs. Some of it is cut vinyl (claws) but everything else is hand painted. It's a head-turner for sure! Ha! I paneled the interior in 1990 and insulated it and put in carpet. The original tan I put in the front got kerosene stains so I replaced it with the red you see now (all I had at the time).
Tires (Goodyear Wingfoot) were put on in 1996 and still look pretty good. If yo, look very closely maybe small cracking but tread is deep. It really hasn't been driven much the past few years and really even during my sign business years it was only lightly used to buy materials or deliver signs.
I took two long trips, well, not real long but, to Charlotte North Carolina and back in July of 2000 to pick up a motorcycle I bought, and back in the early 90's I drove it to Goldsboro North Carolina and back to visit a friend. Charlotte and back was 8 hours round trip and Goldsboro was about 12 hours round trip (live in Southwest Virginia - Wise now but lived in Richlands back then which is where the van is still parked now.)
Any questions just ask. Happy bidding.
Running, excellent mechanical condition but needs electrical work for park lights. Has radiator leak (just discovered while taking photos - will need repaired if you intend to drive it away because it did have some light steam coming out of it on the under-side afetr I parked it). Other than that it will drive anywhere you want to go. Engine strong, needs new battery (had to boost to pull out for photos). Video of vehicle running available on request but no idea how to get it to you unless I can send through ebay messaging system.

*****Update - I added 3 old pictures I found of it. First one is from the year 1980 with my Dad. This is when it was the flower delivery van. He used to paint all his delivery vehicles '57 Chevrolet yellow then he would hand paint the lettering and flowers on them. The other two are from 1990, and then from 2000. I loved those Cragar mag wheels but they used to rust so bad that eventually I gave up with de-rusting and polishing them and just put the original factory wheels and hubcaps back as it is now. Anyway, thought you all might like to see some photos of it's history.
