Car description

I have owned this Bronco for 30 years and after much thought I have decided to sell it. Over the past several years I haven't driven it much (maybe a few hundred miles a year) so I've decided to sell it to someone who will enjoy it. This Bronco has been well cared for and it has not been taken off road since I've owned it. It is a factory 400. automatic transmission. air conditioning. tilt wheel. factory roll bar. factory quad shocks. factory sliding side windows and power steering and brakes and optional32 gallon gas tank with skid plate. It also came with factory cruise control but I removed it when the engine was rebuilt (2000) since I didn't like the clutter on top of the engine. I also wanted a factory correct 1979 Sport Steering Wheel which wasn't available with cruise control. After a few years of searching I found an NOS one and that's the one you see in the pictures. I think I still have the cruise control parts if you want them. The engine was rebuilt professionally by a local performance shop at 180. 52 miles and the truck now has 206. 60 miles so the engine has 25. 08 miles on it since it was rebuilt. It had an Edelbrock Performer camshaft and lifters installed during the rebuild and the heads were cleaned up. Edelbrock Performer Intake (Jet Hot Coated) and carburetor. Hooker Super Comp Headers with 2 1/2" exhaust. Turbo Action rebuilt the transmission at the same time as they are only about 10 miles from my home. I have receipts for both the engine and transmission rebuilds. I had the body stripped and repainted in the same factory colors as it was originally. The only rust repairs in the entire truck is a small spot at the top of the windshield about the size of a nickel. I replaced the tailgate due to a small amount of rust and the front passenger fender due to a minor accident that the person before I owned it where someone bumped into him in a parking lot so it had some bondo in it. I replaced both with factory Ford parts and I have the receipts. The truck was painted in 2001 but it looks like it was painted a year or two ago since I've kept it garaged or covered since. I am including the custom California Car Cover with the truck. The weather stripping was replaced except for the sides on the top since they weren't available anywhere at the time The seats and carpet were done and they look like new since nobody has ridden in the passenger or back seat since it was completed since I always took it out by myself. I always sat on towels since I couldn't find seat protectors for those seats. The seat cloth is as close to original as I could find since no NOS material was available. The paint does have a few nicks and a few very small blisters from just using the truck but that can be expected if you drive one even occasionally. I also had the front suspension professionally rebuilt at the same time including new front springs (I have the receipt). I also replaced the A/C compressor and clutch ( I have receipt). I think I still have the factory exhaust and intake manifold(s). carburetor and bumpers which I also replaced. If I do I will include them if you wish. A couple things I know is that the horn switch on the steering wheel is bad and need replacing. I think I bought the last one at Dennis Carpenter. The dash pad also has a a few cracks from age. I planned to send it to Just Dashes but I never got around to it. The tires have good tread still but since I don't drive it much they have been on the truck along time. I would suggest replacing them due to age. There are no cracks and they look fine. It also requires premium gas. Now for the business part. I will not accept a bid from anyone with less than 25 positive feedbacks. A non refundable $500. 00 deposit is due within 24 hrs. of auction close and the total amount within 7 business days NO Exceptions! The truck will not be released until my bank informs me that the funds are clear. Even a bank money order takes time due to the amount of fakes that are out there so be patient. You are responsible for any costs shipping the truck and once the funds are clear we can get together and schedule pick up of the truck around my work hours. I will be happy to answer any questions you have but don't email me asking what my best price is because I won't respond. This is a really nice truck for somebody who is looking for a Bronco that has been well cared for and I hope it finds a good home since it has brought me much pleasure over the years.
