Car description

Super Rare 289 Fastback Ford Galaxie 500
Here is a 289 Fastback 500 for sale. It needs a complete restoration. We also have a 352 listed. This here is an automatic 2 door hardtop. The ID number on the door comes back as a Galaxie 500 "Fastback" made in Louisville, KY and sold from the dealership in Indianapolis, IN.
Condition: As is. No returns. It needs a passenger wheel I noticed. It needs a complete top to bottom restoration. There is a rusted out spot I see up above the trunk, see pic. Now back near the tail lights there is so much vines I can't see the condition of that area. The lights are busted but It could be rusted or it could not, this thing needs to be wenched out and hauled off on a flatbed. So just be aware. Sold as is. Many years ago it was a now 96 year old Galaxie. It has been sitting for many of years! The best news is the door panel ID comes back to a 289, which is a highly sought after engine. You hear it here folks, as is. To remove this car the buyer is responsible for cutting 1-3 small young trees that grew up to get it out or if you can wench it forward maybe just 1 small tree and some barrels and boat. Either way it shouldn't be complicated for the buyer to get it out of there with proper tools. It is not a jungle. It's just some small trees and to wench it maybe 20-25 feet out on to the flatbed. Easy easy exit off the property. We do not have a working chainsaw and that job goes to the winning bidder. Look at pic you will see them, not very big across. The deposit is due within 48hrs of the sale, and you must pick up the car within 7 days of purchase. Check out our other auctions as we have another Galaxie for sale too. All of the beverage cans and stuff in the seat go with the car. We are getting the car gone and on to the next vehicle. You buy it all. There is no title on the vehichle, but should be easy to get one once restored. My dad got his within a week on a 48 Dodge he restored.
