Car description

Up for auction is a very nice solid 1965 Mustang Convertible. This is a factory A code (which is a 289, with 4 barrel carburetor, with 225 horse power) also factory equipped with a 4 speed transmission, 3.00 locking rear, manual front disc brakes and5 rally wheels.Vehicle had the original am radio that wasn't working so I had an aftermarket am/fm radio installed. Vehicle has manual steering, brakes and a manual top.

As per trim tag;

Body 76A; convertible standard interior

Color H; Caspian Blue

Trim 22; Blue interior

Date19Q; March 19, 1965

DSO 15; Newark, NJ

Axle A; 3.00 locking

Trans 5; 4speed manual

Vehicle is believed to have 95,308 original miles with a restoration done a number of years ago. The original aluminum engine tag is still fastened to the intake manifold noting its a 1965 289 A code.

Vehicle was repainted in its original H ( Caspian Blue), paint code. Interior was also restored in its original trim code. The motor was rebuilt at that time. Everything appears to be matching with the exception of the holley carburetor.

The body panels are straight and body gaps line up. Paint is very nice with a few minor imperfections.

Convertible top was recently replaced and is in perfect condition.

The interior is in excellent condition. All lights and gauges operate properly. Vehicle doesn't leak or smoke.

Vehicle runs and drives extremely well and can be driven any distance with complete confidence.

This is an unmolested very nice 65 Mustang that is fun to drive while shifting through the gears.
