Car description

This is a very solid old truck. It runs and drives great! I took it for a good long test cruise on the Blue Ridge Parkway recently and it did great. Temp stayed on the C for cold as we climbed up to 6000ft above see level. The factory 302 runs perfectly. Doesn't smoke or burn oil and runs strong and smooth. It's got an Edelbrock performer intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, long tube headers and dual exhaust which is in great shape.I converted it over to a late 70's style Ford electronic ignition for reliability.Brakes have been completely rebuilt including lines. It has drums all around.
I just bought a new set of Kenda tires for it. They have about 50 miles on them; all from my cruise on the Parkway. It did have some rust down low but I cut every bit of it out and replaced it with steel. In a couple of the interior shots you can see the some of the repairs. I only ground down the welds on the exterior patches. I took a lot of time on the metal work. Everything is butt welded where appropriate and I made sure water can drain out everywhere it needs to.Paint is actually 2017 Fiat green. It's a brand new paint job. I have not cut, rubbed, or waxed or even washed it yet. The frame was in great shape. Just a little surface rust which I sanded off and treated and painted.Bumpers are pretty straight, and it's got the non-step rear bumper which is cool. Chrome is worn on the horizontal surfaces but not flaking and they still look ok.All the glass is good and was all removed for the restoration. Has all new weatherstripping.Newly reupholstered seat and a new one piece floor mat.Wiring harness is in good shape and has never been messed with. All the gauges work. Most all the lights work. Gauge lights and interior lights work although you have to twist it to the sweet spot on the light switch. Switch is just getting old. The things that give the truck a little character are:Reverse lights are still hooked to the column shifter even though it was converted to a floor shift. I think the column shifter is actually ok if you want to convert it back to that. Horn is hooked to a button under the steering column. Am radio seems to work but can't quite find a channel. Antenna maybe? All this stuff is super minor for a vintage truck. This is a great running solid driving truck that you can get in and drive across the country.I've had good luck dealing with Ebay members. I don't require a pay pal deposit, just cash when you pick it up. If you're getting it shipped just send me a certified check beforehand. Don't destroy my faith in mankind! Make a reasonable offer, I might take it!Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking!
