Car description

1970 Mustang Mach I 428CJ R Code This is one of the nicest Mach I's you will find. A complete frame off mechanical and cosmetic restoration at a cost of over $60,000. A significant number of NOS parts were used in the restoration. With Dokota Digital Dash, Vintage AC, Chrome Pulley Package, EFI package, new wiring harnesses, custom wheels and tires, hooker headers, Milodon pan and more. Matching engine and drive train which were both completely rebuilt with new camshaft, water pumps, alternator you name it its all new. Power steering/power brakes, tinted glass, I’Il list everything below. The car runs and drives perfect and has less than 100 miles on it since restoration. I built a few of these big blocks and this one was meant to keep but my wife wont let me  That is why we painted it black to turn heads so I know don’t email me telling me the car doesn’t match the Marti. The ENTIRE interior is brand new and in mint condition. The paint and chrome are nearly perfect. Powertrain The rare 1970 Ford Mustang R-code 428ci V8 Ram Air engine producing a modest 335 horsepower and 440 ft lbs of torque was totally rebuilt by a master engine builder, it mates to a C6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic. The correct 1969 date-coded 428 block was completely rebuilt including new/correct pistons, rings, crank, cam, and connecting rods. The original heads were resurfaced and received stainless steel valves and guides. The engine was balanced including the flexplate. The C6 transmission received a similar stock overhaul and maintains the correct cast iron tail shaft & proper speedometer adapter! This engine and drivetrain have roughly 100 miles since rebuild! Block has a W1 and a 9K1 date with the big “C“ on the back of the block. Options This car was ordered with Black hood stripe, Rear deck spoiler, Rear window sport slats, Power front disc brakes, sport deck folding rear seat, Power steering, AC, AM/FM radio, front spoiler, factory dash clock – works, and Marti shows Deluxe seatbelts with warning light – we don’t have. Body It boasts a 2-year old cosmetic and mechanical restoration to an all-original, rust and plastic free body. This is a completely restored car. The body shell was media blasted and all of the rust and damage was removed, this required major recontruction of the shell, The car recieved new Dynacorn quarter panels. The new body panels were welded on by a guy who jut does metal work and its difficult to see the car was ever worked on it looks so original!
