Defrost. Front Disc Brakes. Heat. Seatbelts-Front. Seatbelts-Rear. Vinyl Interior. AM/FM Radio SELLER REMARKS It's highly unusual for Mustang coupes to get expensive restorations these days. With the big block fastbacks and convertibles commanding cubic dollars. it's no surprise that people are investing in top-notch restorations on those cars. That's what makes this 1967 Ford Mustang coupe so special: someone loved it so much that they didn't care how upside-down they would be when it was complete. Ultimately. that makes it a slam-dunk for you. the next owner. Yes YOU. This wonderfully solid 289-powered coupe has been very nicely restored to a level a lot of coupes just don't receive. and I think that's a good thing. Gaps are decent. and as a clean southern car. it needed very little sheetmetal work to get it looking as good as it does. The two-stage red urethane on it today is vivid and bright in a way that 1967 paint just couldn't match and if you want eyeballs. this car will do it for you. Gaps are very good throughout the car. and there's a definite feeling that someone really cared when they put this one together. The chrome on the bumpers is very good. and the stainless trim is probably original and in good condition. Inside there's a fresh black vinyl bucket seat interior. but Ford made sure that even the standard setup was stylish and comfortable. There's also a new dash pad up top. but the gauges appear to be original and are showing their age. There are new carpets on the floors and a new black headliner overhead. as well as fresh door panels acting as bookends to this well-restored interior. There's also an optional center console. which features what many enthusiasts call "the garage" which was a storage compartment at the leading edge with a slick. roll-up metal cover. There's also a modern Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system neatly installed in the dash just above the original AM radio. which is kind of a neat trick. In the trunk you'll find what is likely the original mat. and while it's tattered. it won't cost much to replace. A Mustang needs eight cylinders. and this '67 coupe carries a C-code 289 cubic inch V8. which has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor which make a few extra horsepower compared to the original 2-barrel setup. Chrome valve covers add some much appreciated eye appeal and the overall look is of a car that has been enjoyed rather than restored to be a trailer queen. Adding to this car's user-friendly nature. there's a code W C4 3-speed automatic underneath. driving an 8-inch with 2. 79 gears inside. so it's awesome on the highway. Long-tube headers feed a recent dual exhaust system that has just enough bark to it without getting annoying and traction bars will help you use all that torque. Finally. it rolls on a set of 17-inch Torque Thrust style wheels wearing 245/45/17 General performance radials. If you're still reading. obviously you can appreciate how good this car looks. Pleasant to drive. lively on the road. and with everything nice enough to take to local shows. this is the car you drive whenever weather permits and don't look back. Enjoy the fruits of someone else's labor on this one and call today! 1967 Ford Mustang for Sale 1967 Ford Mustang for Sale Stock # 2196-ATL Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte.
