BLOCK REBUILT FOR PERFORMANCE!

NEW TRIPLE CHROME MAGS & SUMO TIRES MUST SEE!!!

With the all the evidence of summer being right around the corner the muscle car hobby is in full swing!!!

The best way to break the season in is by opening the garage peeling back the car cover and firing up some good ole American muscle!

Whether you're looking for your first muscle machine or desire to add to your collection please allow me to give a handful of details regarding a great car that you may want to consider.

Afterwards if you have more questions or desire to put this pony in you stable before the next guy does feel free to call (314) 497-9470 to discuss how you can do that immediately!

This 1970 Stang is quite different from the status quo Machs, fastbacks and convertibles that are so common in the market place today.

I acquired it from a gentleman in Knoxville Tennessee who happened to be the second owner. He knew a good deal of information regarding the cars background. It was reportedly sold new at Ted Russell Ford in the same city.

When he took possession of the car (1989) it was put to use as a daily driver for approximately three years. Afterwards it was tucked away in his garage for over a decade.

He made a decision to restore the car in 2013.

One of the first things that he decided to do was to bring the unique Lime Gold Metallic exterior back to life. This feat was accomplished by employing a Custom body shop to strip the original lacquer paint off and address any other issues. He talked at great lengths about the time that was invested.

All panels seem to have been crafted correctly and are uniform. The car shows very well and is perfectly suited to be a weekend cruiser. After the prep work was completed a quality grade of enamel applied.

The 1970 (G-Code) Ivy Metallic color is one that must be seen in person to be truly appreciated! The exterior really pops in the sun & draws attention whenever she's on the road!

The metallic is evenly distributed and provides just the right touch.

All of the original gaps and body lines are close in proximity to where they were from the factory.

The driver's side bucket and hood looks as if it could have been aligned somewhat better (depending on how picky you are..... maybe a task for a father and son this summer).

At any rate before the vehicle was reassembled the order was sent out to add a Ford sanctioned Boss graphics package kit (looks amazing)!

The Raven Black stripes give the vehicle a race ready appearance! The contrast against the Lime exterior is incredible!

People at each and every corner will constantly remind you that you're driving an American Dream Machine!

To help validate the custom styling an iconic Mach 1grille was set in place. These attributes truly help establish the cars character and presence.

Looking left to right you will also find a perfect pair of N.O.S. sport mirrors.

A period correct hood scoop attached to an aggressive looking stainless grill leads the way up front. To help further the appearance of being a street menace a Mach 1 hood treatment kit was situated on top!

Finally to ensure complete continuity and aid in deflecting road debris a set of stainless rocker panel moldings were installed.

The front and rear bumpers have both been replaced also.

The lion's share of grill moldings along with most of the exterior trim has been replaced.

Illumination at night is optimal thanks in part to all new head lights.

A traditional fuel cap with an illustrated running pony can be found along the rear.

To sum it up this Mustang is a fun classic car that can't a city block without receiving various compliments! It's has been pampered and was restored nicely (excellent for cruising and taking to the local shows).

She looks great from every angle

SHOW OR GO

Now that we have talked about this vintage Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside!

Upon opening the door of it you will find a very accommodating interior. The nostalgic black high back buckets and rear bench are still in great shape and firmly affixed to the original platform.

Displaying your Mustang pride will also be a cinch "thanks in part to a partial wood grain dash"! The cockpit area and steering wheel both are in great condition.

The glove box opens and functions as it should.

The roof and interior lights inside properly illuminate when the door is ajar.

The distinct black factory door panels have new hardware with window cranks. Both standard arm rests are free from damage.

Located centrally beneath you will find a new perfectly woven loop pile carpet. The sill plates are in excellent shape as well.

All of the glass along with the front and rear windshield are in pristine condition "damage free"!

For all intensive purposes the instrument gauges seem to function fine. Most jump into action upon being engaged!

A classic Ford packing tray can be found in back with a good pair of sail panels.

The trunk, both inner quarters and lower drop offs are well presented.

To ensure no moister harm the gas tank or any items inside a new trunk mat has been installed.

To wrap things up in this department I believe the interior plays its part well in conjunction with the exterior. The contrast against the exterior is quite striking"! `

Now that I have given several reasons why many people love this Ford...... Let's talk about what makes it a true pony car!

No Mustang can truly be considered a free running stallion without having a factory V/8!

The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT 302 engine.

The power plant under the hood of this Mustang has been meticulously maintained (86,000 miles)!

I think that it is important to mention at this time that this Ford is still has its original block. The vehicle is very responsive and the engine itself is pretty snappy.

It typically starts easy thanks in part to being constantly serviced for reliability.

Some of the preventative maintenance parts that have been installed are as follows but not limited to premium plugs, performance wires, belts, hoses, battery, starter, fuel pump, fuel filter & entirely too much more to list.

Keeping things cool under the hood is no problem at all. The radiator has been flushed and a new cap was added.

There has been high temperature thermostat installed for the upcoming season.

Power steering makes driving a cinch. This nice pony car is also equipped with factory disc brakes which were recently serviced (clean bill of health).

The original coil springs were worn and had seen better days so a new set has just been installed. Typically they take about 30 days to settle in so the front end stance will be a bit elevated until that time has elapsed. All the hard work has been done. You can drive this one with complete confidence!

LET'S FIRE HER UP!!!

The 60's muscle car sweet note comes by aid of chambered dual exhaust system!

Finally a "traffic stopping set of triple chrome polished torque thrust mag wheels were added with new lugs!

You will also find a set of brand new HT Performance radials at all four corners!

This Mustang has a Bull Dog Aggressive stance that can't be ignored!

Don't miss out on your chance to own a quality investment!

The time, effort & money spent restoring this car can't be properly measured. That being said I have set a very reasonable reserve on it! The car is being offered at a fraction of what it cost to restore it!

It is also structurally sound & not rusty like most.

The floors, torque boxes and frame rails are all in great shape! ALL INSPECTIONS WELCOME!

This is an investment grade classic car that will only continue to appreciate! Car cover included.
