1972 Ford F100 XLT Ranger. 2wd short bed truck with only 15. 00 actual miles! The truck is equipped with a 302 V8. 3-speed manual transmission. power steering. power brakes. air conditioning. am/fm stereo and a cargo light. Everything on the truck works. The truck runs out and drives excellent. just like you would expect a 15. 00 mile truck to do. I put 40 miles on it this week just running errands. The truck was sold new in Alton Missouri (SE Missouri) and has remained very close to there since it's purchase from J. B. Gum Ford in 1972. The original owner did send the truck off in 1991 to have repainted by a well known Ford truck restorer. At that time the truck had approximately 7. 00 actual miles on it. The truck had set on a carport for years therefore explaining the need for new paint. As per the previous owner the truck was repainted but the exterior trim was just cleaned. polished and put back on the truck. In approximately 2001 the original owner sold the truck in it's current condition. It has since logged another easy 8. 00 miles on the odometer while being very well taken care of. I do have the original owners manual still in the paper sleeve from the original selling Ford dealership showing the name of the original owner. You will notice in the pictures that the truck has a set of non original tires and wheels on it for driving. I do have the original steel wheels and hubcaps that will come with the truck.
