Car description

Up for sale is a classic 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT 4x4!!!
This Bronco is loaded with a tons of options and comes equippedwith a very strong 400ci. V8 motor and the bullet proof C6 automatic transmission. A Dana 44 differential in the front and Ford 9" differential in the rear give it the strength to conquer any terrain!!
Ultimate barn find!! I was able to buy this beauty off the original owner that had it locked up in his shed. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to offer this classic SUV a home as money and circumstances have changed. This was my daily driver for quite some time, after all of the fluids were changed, all new igntion parts, new carburetor, new aluminum intake, brakes, and steering components were relaced.
This is one rare Bronco!!! With options like a/c, heater, limited slip differential, flip-up sun roof, bucket seats, power rear window, and towing pkg! Not to mention that two tone paint scheme! Not too many Broncos out there with this many options that are daily drivers.
Super straight down the road! No worries on either daily street use or highway, this big Bronco drives fantastic. Smooth and super easy to maneuver, will not disappointeven the pickiest of drivers. All lights and gauges, with the only exception being the gas gauge, work. Heater blows hot and a/c will only need to be serviced to be blowing cold again!
Starts right up with just a bump of the key, and warms up really fast. With only 79,201 miles, it's no wonder why the motor and transmission are strong and operate very smoothly! Gets up to highway speed in a hurry and still gets very decent mileage for being a big V8 engine and a full size 4x4.
Does have the full time transfer case, though have not taken it offroad, it performs very well on snowy/ muddy roads. Underneath, every thing has been undercoated with heavy duty rubberized coating, for the ultimate rust protection and sound deadening.
The interior is in really good shape being that it is a 39 year old vehicle! Top has never been taken off so all of the seals are intact and is surprisingly very quite, with little to none road noise. Really nice red carpet, seats are in really good condition, and top headliner only has some small rips on it.
Here is a list of all new parts that aren't even a year old:

Although this truly is in my opinion in great overall shape for it's age, there are some things as with all classic vehicles that haven't been completely restored to flawless condition. First off, the exterior does have its share of dents and some corrosion. The worst part has already been cut out by previous owner and I have attached the picture of it. The rest of the rust is minimal and is only gone through at the left side of tail gate. There are some areas where some touch-up paint was used as a form to cover excess scrapes and dents (as seen on the pictures). Secondly, the interior does have wear and tear that would be expected from these Broncos. Everything for the a/c is present expect for the belt, and the a/c compressor needs servicing. The driver's bucket seat/carpet area has small holes from cigaretteburns, the sunroof's seal will need replacement, and the rear carpet has tears and holes (as shown in the pictures). The dash has some black areas, there is no radio, and the dash pad has a rip. Lastly, both front u-joints will eventually need replacing, since they are somewhat worn and clunk when shifting into drive from reverse and vice versa. The exhaust was rotting out so I ended up cutting it out at the headers, so the Bronco will need exhaust from the headers on out.
This is still a great Bronco that you can actually get in and drive anywhere! Very dependable and very smooth/ straight down the road! Don't miss out on this Bronco with a lot of potential! Starting bid is ultra low and there is no reserve so bid, win, and come drive it away! Clean and clear title in hand! Good luck!

Forgot to mention that although I have replaced the old worn out rear power window motor, the switch has given out as well and will also need replacement.

The touch up paint is on both sides of the rear wheel wells and bottom of the tail gate. Looks like there is body work done to it there as well. Also, the rear axle housing looks like it has welds on both ends, but it is only extra grease that was sprayed over by the undercoat. I have removed it and sprayed some more undercoat over. I also have a lot more pictures that I can send at anytime, or take some of any areas, just let me know!
