Car description

Up for auction is this 1963 Ford F100 unibody 4x4 pickup. Clear Nebraska title. This is one that would look nice and turn heads when done. Idon't know a lot about this pickup. It does start and drives around yard. I have gallon jug for gas tank right now. Brakes do not work. The wiring is a mess, but can shut it off with key, but have to jump starter to get it to start. Not sure what year the frame and running gear are, it is ford. I would guess the chassis is late sixty's early seventy. The motor is gold color and I'm guessing is a 360 or 390. Has 4 speed transmission and works in all gears, including reverse. The body isn't too bad of shape, most of it is really solid and straight. The hood is a little rough but useable, doors are really nice. Box has a little rust starting through on front of panels. Floorpans have a little rust in corners next to kick panels but rest of floor pans are solid, only surface rust. Drivers step is rusted out but passenger step is good. The front cab mounts are badly rusted and they didn't do a very good job of mounting cab to frame, as you can see in the pictures. Rest of underside looks solid other than surface rust. The inside of box doesn't have any rust. No tailgate. This pickup will need a lot of work before you will be able to put on the road. Will need brakes, wires figured out, and check all body mounts.
