Ford Ranchero Custom

I am listing this for a friend. This Ranchero Custom was purchased by my friend in 2009. It was not driven for many years before he purchased it and hasn't been driven since. This is a 289 ranchero with headers and dual exhausts and a C4 transmission. It came with Ford dealer installed underdash Air Conditioning unit. This along with the mounting brackets, pulleys,condenserand drier were all removed for the restoration and come with the car. He intended to restore it but due to severe health problems he is forced to sell the car. This a good running solid Ranchero. This is the first one Ive seen that didnt have the rear storage box all rotted out or rotten floor pans. My friend decided to have the car painted and to install new tires, he spent $3500.00 on a complete paint job and spray on bed lining, the paint and lining are brand new. There are brand new tires mounted on genuine old school chrome Rocket rims with a total of 3 miles on them. This is an unfinished project car. It comes with a box full of new and old emblems, the original radio, 2 instrumentpanels, windshield and bed trim, new interior light lens, sunvisors, hood hinges and kick panels . The upholstery was done some time back and will need a cleaning. The car runs and drives fine, the transmission sometimes sticks upshifting but shifts solidly with out any slipping when it does. This is probably due to sitting for such a long time and needs a flushing and fresh fluid or a bad vacuum modulator, a new one comes with the car. Electrical system is OK, no cu, spliced or bare wires. All the glass is good. Comes with a replacement heater box with heater core and motor, the old one was leaking. Comes with brand new ACC molded carpet and new headliner. Will need door weatherstripping to finish it off. Priced to sell as an unfinished project. Odometer shows 10K miles but actual mileage is unknown as the instrument panel was replaced many years ago.LOW RESERVE . I dont know too much other then whats in the ad.
