Rare being only 1 of 10 with these options and paint/interior color combination. When everyone else was ordering green and gold the original owner special ordered his in black. It's very original and has never been restored - original paint, interior, matching numbers and very solid - NO rust and NO rust repair. Before I purchased the car there were two owners. The original owner for 19 years and the second owner for 27 years.

Mechanical:

It starts right up, runs good and drives well. Matching numbers, 351-2V V8, FMX Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes and Air Conditioning. Windshield washer pump does not work and air conditioner works but needs to be recharged/serviced - everything else works. Still maintains the original ford engine bay stickers, Ford OK stamped in yellow on the passenger valve cover and other original stickers on the door jambs, underside of hood and trunk lid.

Interior:

Two tone black and white color combination. Original interior is in good condition and all there. The door panels being white obviously show the dirt a little more, the drivers arm rest is torn and the back of the driver’s seat is also torn just simply from use over time. Other than that, it’s just what you would expect from an original interior. Wear marks here and there but still in good condition – all the glass is good and no cracks in the dash. The factory clock does not work. As was pretty common in the day, the original radio was replaced and new door speakers were added but no other modifications have been done. Full console, Décor Group, Seat Belts, Remote Driver’s Side Mirror, Rare Factory Fold Down Rear Seat and Space Saver Spare Tire.

Exterior:

Special ordered in Black – 1 of only 10 equipped like this! Original 46 year old paint with dings, dent in lower passenger door, scratches, paint on the hood is cracked and there are a few spots where the original paint has worn through. All of the chrome is in place and in good condition - no pitting, rust or really not even any major dings or dents. Dual sport side mirrors, bumper guards and tinted glass. Panel fit is very good for the doors, hood and trunk. The real beauty of this car is the fact that’s rust free – other than minor surface areas on the underside. But it’s very solid, all original panels, no rust repair on any panel, the underside floors and frame rails are in excellent shape as well as the trunk is solid and in excellent shape.
