The 2+2 came with the fold down back seat which gave the look of a sports car and more cargo rom than a coupe with the fastback roof. The one we have for you has had many upgrades like the Aluminum Head 302 with the 5 Speed trans. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Ford. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body is laser straight with food fit of the panels. It has the GT Port windows in the rear along with the GT Fiberglass Hood and the exhaust in the rear valacnce. Everything is covered in the Wimbledon White Paint that is accented by the Ragoon Red striped that are painted on the hood. top and trunk with the lower side stripes being vinyl. The paint has a deep rich shine that’s slick to the touch with the stripes under the clear. They did a nice job in the jams and trunk as well. It has had the tail lights upgraded to the Aluminum Framed LED and it also has an Aluminum Fuel Cap. At the time of the resto they added new bumpers along with other new trim and all the weather stripping was replaced along with new window seals. The final exterior touch is the set of 17” American Racing Wheels. Next. we will take a look on the inside of the Fastback. The interior is done in red and White that complements the exterior perfectly. It has the Pony seat covers that are read with white door panels and headliner. The dash pad is red along with the carpet. When you look at the dash it has Auto Meter gauges and a vintage radio that has a hook to play MP3 that is hidden. The column was changed to a chrome tilt with the wood wheel. They added the custom kick panels with the built in speakers. It is also fitted with new seat belts. Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it’s powered by a built 302 with trick flow aluminum heads. an Aluminum intake and valve covers. It has the Billet Pulleys and an Aluminum Water pump and radiator. The ignition was upgraded to MSD. The trans is a 5 Speed that’s mated to the 8” Ford Rear End. Also. the Brakes have been upgraded to 4 Wheel disc and the steering is Rack and Pinon. When you look under this ride it has solid floors that have had some work and had frame connectors added to handle the power.
