1966 Restored 289cid Automatic Disk Brakes 5 Lug Hubs Great Driver

This is a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe finished in Blue with a complementary Blue vinyl interior. The current owner has owned the car for approximately 20 years during which time he has invested heavily in her well-being! Overall this is a very nice example of the 1966 Mustang that is well maintained and in very good condition.
This 1966 Ford Mustang started out as a turquoise car inside and out and approximately 11 years ago, she was repainted blue and the interior was completely redone, also in blue. Originally she was a 6 cylinder car but she was upgraded to a 289cid V8; the transmission was subject to a complete overhaul in 2016. Also note that the hubs have been upgraded to 5 stud with new springs on the rear and new shocks were installed on all four corners - which is always a good idea when going to the V8 motor. Here is a list of items that were either upgraded or addressed during or after the restoration process:
- Power Steering added (not original)
- New floor pans & trunk floor
- New frame rails
- New chrome bezel around rear lights
- New dashpad, steering wheel, windhshield, seats front and rear

As you can see, this car has been well cared for and since restoration, has never been driven in the rain and is stored for the winter months. The 289cid engine runs very strong, does not smoke, nor does it burn oil. She runs on regular fuel with no engine pinging. The car has recently passed her State inspection and all gauges, lights and horn etc are working. As shown in the pictures she needs very minor body repair on the lower driver’s door where you can see minor bubbling of paint.
