Car description

1966 Ford Crew Cab F250 4X4 21,000 Original Miles Project TruckHere is a 1966 Ford Crew Cab with 21,000 original miles. It was and Air Force truck, hat got in a wreck, hortly after it was purchased. This truck is 98 % complete. I think the only thing it is missing is the power steering box, ead liner ( I was going to fabricate one) and the sun visors. I have been collecting parts for it for over 10 years, nd some things I have several of. Most of the sheet metal is very nice. It is sitting on a 1977 Ford F250 4X4 Crew cab frame. The frame was sanded down and painted with urethane enamel as pictured, nd is laser straight and has never been damaged in any way. The truck sat for around 40 years, efore I found it, o it did have some rust. 95% of that rust damage has been professionally repaired. The back of the cab right side still needs finished. As pictured. The bottom of the cab has been stripped and the center cross member replaced and is currently in DuPont white sealer. The cloth between the frame and the cab is to keep from scratching either one. I purchased a 1974 Lincoln 460 with 60,000 miles on it, eal good running motor with a C6 automatic, hat I was going to run in this truck with a 203 divorced transfer case, hat is also low mileage, ll included if you want it. I have 2 real nice beds, owever they are both long beds and this is a short bed set up. I was going to section the bed into a short bed. As you can see in the pictures this is a project, nd I have to many of them. The rear differential is a Ford 10 3/4 inch. The front is a Dana 44 Hi Pinion. Both in real nice condition, ith 354 gears. I have a Posi for the 10 3/4 inch rear end that is not installed. Clear clean title that states 21,000 original miles. You can let the truck sit here until summer if you want, ut full payment is required with in 7 days. If you chose to pick it up now I will need 4-5 days to move all the parts for transport. You will need a trailer, nd lots of tie downs. I have a tractor that moves it around nice, nd will help load. The rear tires and wheels go to another truck I have and are not included. But I do have the original 77 F250 wheels to roll and load. These were a one year only truck and hard to find. With 21,000 original miles almost impossible. Most of the 61-66 ford truck parts fit this truck except the rear doors of coarse. For all you gear heads out there I must tell you I picked up a 64 uni-body f100 and separated it at the back of the doors, s pictured and was considering grafting it into this truck for a true one off 66 F250 crew cab uni-body .If you want that section it can go too. I also have the high lip fenders that came on 66 4x4s. I am sure there are more questions and I will sure answer them. Been on e-bay for 15 years and sold several vehicles. We always try to under-describe them so there won't be any disappointments, nd so far, o good. Also we have sold thousands of parts and have a top rated 100% feed back.If you have any questions or need any additional information, lease do not hesitate to contact us!We are happy to answer any questions, nd very easy to work with.
