Car description

This truck is a gem. Very solid classic f-100 SPORT CUSTOM model. This truck was a original california truck. It was sun-washed and faded so I had it painted in a very sharp red color. Paint work very nice driver quality.Truck has Power steering and brakes. It runs very well, bit cold blooded in the morning like any vehicle of this age. It has most of its complete history documented by owner where it spent most of its entire life is southern california .All glass and trim very nice. The gentleman that owned it took great care of his truck,Evident as I read thru the stack ofmaintenance records. For example Trans was rebuilt at ford dealer at about 85,000 miles, reeze plugs also done back in the 80s,Also the rear end was rebuilt as well. Oil changes, and most everything else logged with receipts. If you have been looking for one of these this will be hard to beat for the money. You can enjoy it as. I would say the only thing I had planned for the future was a standard tune up,and replace the rear shocks. Thats really about it.He added after market wiper delays,Cruise control, and even a/c everything works fine a/c blows cool but not ice cold. It may just need a shot of freon. Inside has some normal on the wear on the seat but the gauges and knobs as well as the bezels are in excellent shape. It really looks great and is in complete original condition! To me it reflects how well taken care of this truck was over the years. All the rubber around the doors and windows very nice shape. I drove this for a hour and 45 minutes in 80 degree weather at 70 mph and it hummed all the way no issues at all. Shifts and brakes as it should. All the lights work. All the body trim is in really nice shape for its age. Look at the picts the bed has hardly a ding just like the rest of this truck. This is a very tight truck. All panels, doors, hood align correctly and shut nice. No sagging. The head liner and visors look very nice. The Floor is again like the rest of the truck solid as a rock. It does have a aftermarket second tank. "Must have been a typical thing to do back then" It will need a rear bumper as you can see. There are two small dings in very front of the grill, ou could probably remove and massage them out. I wanted to pointthose out.The exhaust manifolds have been recently replaced within the last year. It goes down the road nice and straight no windwhistling thru the cab. The tires are not period correct but are nearly new.The bed was sprayed same color as truck but is not polished, gain I had intentions of driving it in nice weather. This is a truck you can get in it and go.The onlycracking on interior is by the speaker in top of dash other than that it is in great shape. Not really bad but trying to mention what I can think of. I would love to keep it but have too much on my plate right now. It is not a worn out, piece of junk patched up and made to look like something its not. The last picture is what it looked like before the paint work was done. It shows how nice the truck was as stated earlier just faded and ugly beige in color.Shipping is not included. No warranty like any old car. My feed back is solid. My descriptions are accurate. Easy access located just outside of detroit area. 48035 zipAs always I reserve the right to end this auction earlier.
