1948 Ford Siebert Hearse Vintage

1948 Ford Siebert Hearse. This unusual car started out as a two door sedan and was modified by Siebert when new. It has a wonderful huge hatchback. I have rebuilt the casket deck and rollers, nd started to replace the interior with Red Velvet and have extra yardage of this that comes with the car. It has 67,000 original miles. At one point someone took the hood and fenders for another car and replace them with ones not as nice as the condition of the rest of the car so you will see surface rust under some black Paint. The dash has been repainted and the steering wheel has been redone. The tires are good and no dry rot. Very little rust on this car other than mentioned. It has some new wiring and some old botched wiring. I have driven this car locally only a few times so I would not state it's ready to drive anywhere. It has a Flathead V-8, hree speed manual trans. It has been converted to a 12 volt negative ground system with a GM one wire alternator with internal regulator. The brake lights work, ut no turn signals.
