Very Nice Two-Tone

Ford Vicky w/292V8

Ready to Drive Away

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:

VEHICLE HISTORY: My father purchased this freshly restored Vicky in 1990 to add to his growing car collection. It is a duplicate of the one he purchased new in 1956 as our family car. I was 8 years old at the time, nd remember taking it on vacations, nd even sitting on my Dad's lap while he let me steer going down the highway! It has been a part of Bill Snook's personal collection ever since and displayed at Snook's Dream Cars Museum since we opened in 2002.

As with all the cars in our Museum this one was driven regularly, nd any required maintenance was performed to keep it "Running, eliable, nd Ready to Show". In his later years he was not able to drive much but liked to ride in it. The cloth seats were hard for him to slide into so we had our upholstery shop install a clear plastic seat cover to make it easier.

Maintenance in the last few years include: LOF service, new battery, arburetor service, new transmission tailshaft bushing and rear seal, new differential pinion seal, new rear transmission mount, new heater control valve.

My father passed away a few years ago, nd this pretty Fiesta Red and Colonial White Vicky hardtop is being sold to finance additional cars for the Museum. Number 1 condition 1956 Ford Victoria's are valued upwards of $40,000. This is not a #1 show car, ut it's very nice; a fun car to drive, nd always gets admiring looks. It's now ready for a new owner to enjoy cruising the highways!

MARQUE HISTORY: For 1956 Ford reused the 1955 body with the exception of differences in the top configuration on 2-door hardtops (as this one). Oval parking lights replace the round units used on the 1955 models and the chrome trim was revised moderately. The 1956 models used larger taillights with chrome rings around the lenses. For 1956 Ford interiors featured a completely redesigned instrument panel, nd the steering wheel featured a 2 1/2" recessed hub for safety.

The Fairlane series was the top trim level for 1956 and included chrome window moldings, hrome "A" pillar moldings, hrome side sweep moldings, large V-shaped insignia on the trunk lid, ual exhausts (V8 models), nd rear bumper exhaust outlets.

INCLUDED WITH PURCHASE: Spare Tire, ack & Tools, aintenance Receipts (1990 - current), 956 Ford Owner's Manual, 56 Ford Model Line Folder, 56 Ford Magazine Ad, ord V8 Postcard, itzler 1956 Ford Color Chip Page.
