1983 Bertone X-1/9

This is a well sorted, omplete, nmodified car. Looks to have been restored ten years ago to a fairly high standard. I have owned the car one year and have reconditioned several mechanical systems and the interior. Car starts easily, uns smoothly, o smoke or puddles. All emissions control equipment is intact. Handling is exactly as I remembered from the 1985X-1/9 I purchased new 30 years ago - smooth, ompliant and well balanced. Everything works except the A/C - all components are in place and hooked up but I haven't had time to diagnose (but I will include the Fiat A/C repair manual along with all the otherfactory shop manuals). I have swapped out the 1983 instrument cluster for a 1985 unit which has a slightly different speedo that goes to 140 mph rather than the federally required 85 mph of the era. Optimistic, ut definitely looks much better.The original instrument cluster, hich showed 58K miles,comes with the car if you want to swap it back. Given the excellent condition of the undercarriage, hich has ample evidence of Ziebart treatment, nd the condition of the engine which does not appear to have been removed/replaced, assume that mileage to be correct. You will see at the bottom of this description that the car also comes with a treasure trove of spare parts. Below are some further highlights of the car.
