Becoming a very rare collectible model with values on the rise with the re-introduction of the "New" Fiat Spider. The 124 Spider has been a favorite for sports car enthusiasts for many years. Noted for their simplicity and reliability at an affordable price. This particular Fiat is quite rare due to the unique "Pagoda Yellow" color. This color was used on other Italian cars of the same period. Survivor example that can be driven and enjoyed.

Looking for a good home for this great Italian Classic.

Engine: 1800 cc
Transmission: 5 Speed

Color: Pagoda Yellow with Black interior

Mileage: 33,148

Title: Clear "Michigan" Title

**I will be adding more pictures within the next few days.**

I purchased the Fiat from another car enthusiast locally who had owned the Spider for the 7 years. It was used as his weekend cruiser and only used on the nicest of days. I was quite surprised to learn that the owner was the Grandson of a famous innovative Detroit Automobile Manufacturer which is quite an interesting story which is a well known movie that most car enthusiasts have seen. Needless to say he is a true car enthusiast. The mileage shows 33,000 which he could not confirm was correct, however there are receipts from the local Fiat dealer that are consistent with the miles.

Mechanically the Fiat is in excellent condition. The engine runs smoothly and starts easily. It is fitted with a weber carburetor for performance and it's ultra reliable. At some point the ignition switch had some issues and a separate starter button was installed underneath the dash near the ignition switch. Makes a great theft deterrent. The air pump was removed at some point. The 5 Speed transmission shifts nicely with no syncro issues. The throwout bearing does make some noise when depressing the clutch. The Fiat is really quite fast and really pulls through the gears. Timing belt was replaced approximately 5 years ago with about 5000 miles according to the previous owner. Recent brake work included new pads all around. The front left caliper was replaced however it's not working 100% correctly. I suspect the brake hose needs to be replaced as well. The Fiat is fitted with an "Ansa" exhaust which has a fantastic sound to it. Truly a blast to drive!

Body: The body is in excellent original condition. Rust free except for a small rust bubble near the left rear wheel arch. Underside looks all original with no issues. Rocker panels are in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. The Fiat has an older repaint in it's original Pagoda Yellow color. The paint looks very nice however there multiple spots where the paint has been touched up over the years including a good sized spot on the wiper valance. There are other imperfections in the paint as would be expected from an older repaint. The trunk is clean and no issues with rust in the spare tire well. As noted in the pictures, it has a very nice high end cloth convertible top. Rear window in good condition as well. The front turn signal assy's were mounted behind the grill because the previous owner liked the look of the front bumper removed. The Fiat always gets compliments and is a true head turner. The "Pagoda Yellow" truly makes this car!

The interior is in fantastic condition as shown in the pictures. The carpet is in nice shape as well as the seats. Door panels are in excellent condition as well. Dash is in nice shape. At some point the rear seat was deleted. As shown the interior looks fantastic showing no wear.

The Fiat is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. I cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies that may have been inadvertently been provided.

ONCE AGAIN....NO RESERVE AUCTION!
