Car description

Im selling my 1985 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole Coupe. Ive had the car a number of years and I have enjoyed it. Its been a very dependable car the whole time I've had it. This is my second Ferrari and I have to say this is the most useable Ferrari there is. It has a back seat, a trunk and storage under the hood. I had a 348 good luck getting anything but 2 people in it...pretty much zero storage. The other thing I like about the Mondial is parts are not crazy high and the timing belts came be done through the wheel well and the parts cost about $300 bucks. Theres a good video on YouTube showing how to do it...its a weekend job. If you can wrench, you can do it yourself. I had the belts done on my 348 and it cost me over 7 grand because the engine has to come out. Being able to do it yourself is a HUGE plus! I did the belts about 5 years ago and per the spec they are due to be done again. I could do it in a weekend but I just dont have the time to mess with it. If you cant turn a wrench and do the job yourself, I was quoted a grand (P&L) by a reputable garage in Columbus OH. But the car runs fine as it is now.
The engine starts right up and sounds like a Ferrari should. The black paint is shiney as you can see in the pics. It's used paint but still looks very presentable. The interior is very nice looking and this car has a sun roof. The pics show all of these points. I bought it in Beverly Hills California so its not a car from the rust belt salt infested midwest and I never drove it in bad weather. I always garaged it and tried to keep up on things that I knew needed attention.

The tires are good and are Michelin Pilots with lots of tread on them. The car has a new JVC AM/FM/CD player recently installed. It got a new battery for it last Fall. The car runs very well, the brakes are good as is the exhaust.

Its a nice looking car. Its dependable, starts every time VERY fun to drive...no battery run down if it sits awhile and it runs like it should. What more can I say? The prices are going up on these cars and there wasnt very many coupes imported so it's a pretty rare car. One just like it sold for $42K on Jackson Barrett within the last month. I can only see the value of this car going up in the years to come. IMO its a good investment and it's a real a joy to have a Ferrari in your garage. You'll grin everytime you see it. I still do even after having it 9+ years. Ill miss the car greatly but I have other toys and I work so much I just dont have much time for any of them. So its time for someone else to enjoy this one.

I have a clear title and if you need to ship it I will help your carrier get it loaded. Any shipping expenses and arrangements are to be done by the buyer.
As with any used classic there is no warranty expressed or implied. If you have any questions please ask BEFORE you bid and please do not bid if dont intend to pay for the car. A $1000 deposit is required within 3 days of you winning the auction. If no deposit is made and there has been no contact from the buyer, I will resell the car. I also have this car listed locally and if it sells I reserve the right to end this auction early. I will not allow the car to be taken until full payment has been made and verified/cleared. The balance can be sent via wire transfer, USPS money orders or I prefer cash in person if you are coming for the car. Im sure you could drive it home on these timing belts as it runs fine however I would advise you to have it brought to you, do the belts THEN drive the heck out of it just to be safe.

Please note this is a 1985 NOT a 1981....Ebay wont take the VIN. They have issues with their system when it comes to classic foreign cars.

Thanks for looking...
